You already got the Rona, so it's a little late for you.

Stick ‘em in a retail pharmacy for a few months. They’d run all day and have less opportunity to overeat, or eat at all.

OP, you know some people do have health problems as to why they get fat

Brought my FIL to his cardiologist two weeks ago. One of the first things I noticed were the amount of overweight people that worked there.
The nurse that took his vitals before the Dr. came in had to be maybe 5’ 5” and weighed at least 200lbs.
I know they can’t discriminate but that’s not a good image.

Yep. You can know what to do or not do, but for me, the stress gets me every time. I’m not overweight but i just can’t seem to kick the nicotine. Call it weakness or whatever, because i know how bad it is.

They still aren’t wrong though. Beats just throwing you pills.

Interesting. I are you more likely to take advice from an overweight pastry chef or a gamer expert? Seems like both of those types are likely to be chubby.
I think being overweight is detrimental in all circumstances. But I don’t really care about people’s life choices. Someone else being obese doesn’t really effect my health.
Can’t say the same for people who smoke cigarettes near me or my kid.

Not sure if it’s a weakness when product is designed to be addictive.

While I kinda get what you're saying in the terms of "giving advice on a healthy lifestyle".... not all healthcare workers are giving advice, some just take care of you. If someone has that calling then great.
With that said, I might second guess any dietary advice they may have.... not saying their wrong but just like any advice I get, if you aren't doing it what's the deal?

My mom is a health nut but I'm kind of somewhere in the middle. I eat relatively healthy about 75% of the time but I love to crush a double Whataburger with cheese occasionally too.

When I was 7 months pregnant with my 2nd child my OB at the time sent me to a nutritionist bc of my weight
When I walked in the nutritionist said ‘why did they send you, you weigh less than me, I’ll tell your dr’
Long story short #2 was huge. Still is.

I think there's a chapter on it in the obesity code. Basically pointing it out as evidence that traditional dieting and eating habits don't always work.

My pediatrician was fat as shite but got me out of a few rough spots growing up

I fail to rationalize how a healthcare provider's weight has any damn thing to do with their ability to care for patients.

So start self-diagnosing instead and let us know how it goes.

I can see your point to an extent.
