Jurassic World:
Kid - “want to see something cool?”
Immediately cuts to a brand new Mercedes.
Anyone else have any other examples of poorly executed product placements? One where they thought they were being sneaky, but failed miserably.

This one instantly came to mind because I laugh every time I see it due to it's blatancy. I love how all the labels were turned towards the camera.......

I put my drinks in the fridge label out. Perfectly normal.

But wasn’t that a whole bit? I meant more badly executed product placement. My bad.

Garth in the Reebock Bikers outfit was pretty shamless:

Reminds me of the Verizon product placement in 30 Rock when she just turns to the camera and says “can we have our money now?” Lol

Toy Story (3-4?) and the blatant Clemson Football recruitment ad in Andy’s bedroom.

Captain America and Black Widow driving to New Jersey in a brand new Chevy Silverado with pretty good trim.

the Bill Murray fridge frame is how the department would dress for a scene. Most of the items are 3/4 angle and the Perrier is how it should be put in the fridge.
Not blatant at all.

Return Of The Killer Tomatoes did it first in the mid-80s.
They “ran out of money” partway through the film, broke the fourth wall, then started doing blatant product placement to get the film finished, like hocking Heineken.
Granted, the over the top product placement was part of the parody nature of the film.
