World War 2 book recommendations

What are some good ones? Around this time of year i read WW2 books. I'm currently reading band of brothers. I've read:
Beyond Band of Brothers
Brothers in Battle, Best of Friends
With the Old Breed
Helmet for my Pillow
Agent ZigZag
I tend to favor reading about the European theater but also am interested in the Russian front.

Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer
I would suggest not placing this book on your bookshelf because of the giant swastikas on the cover and spine of the book

IF you want more of a very unsettling analysis of how the holocaust happened - try Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning.
It sort of goes into how some of these people who weren't diehard Nazi's and - up until they crossed a certain point - were just regular family men, it goes into how most people are susceptible to pressure of a group setting by discussing a specific reserve unit of WW2

If you liked Band of Brothers, you will like Ambrose's other books including D-Day and Citizen Soldiers. I read them years ago and re-read them last year around the time I went to Normandy to tour the D-Day beaches. It was especially enjoyable reading D-Day right after I got back while fresh in my mind was the memory of standing in the exact spot where many of those events took place.

Read Churchill's six book account of the war. It is freaking great. Also, albert Speer's Inside the Third Reich is a fascinating account of history.

Pacific Crucible by Ian Toll
I am not terribly interested in WWII in general and the Pacific aspect in particular. My dad loved the book and got me a copy. Man, those 500 pages flew by. Toll gives a great account of the action, equipment, cultures, and people. I’m looking forward to reading the second one in the trilogy. Pacific Crucible covers Pearl Harbor to Midway. Anecdotal evidence of my interest, when we FINALLY sunk a Japanese carrier at Midway I cheered out loud. (Spoiler alert.)

Not sure if you like books on WW2 in the Pacific, but I highly recommend reading
Shattered Sword. It's about the battle of Midway. I've read a handful of other books on Midway, but this one is much more detailed and gives the Japanese perspective of the battle as well.
It won the John Lymen Book Award for "Best Book in U.S. Naval History" Great read!

Ambrose's Pegasus Bridge is one of his lesser known but its good. Its a quick read.
I know you mentioned ETO but a favorite of mine is Flyboys by James Bradley.

Anything by Antony Beevor or Rick Atkinson are great in regards to the European Theater of Operations. Reading Agent Zigzag now. Macintyre is a great author.
