This is absolutely anecdotal but I have noticed WAY more cases recently in Lafayette. People where I work are sick. People in my neighborhood are sick. STM is shut down for the next two weeks. Erath High in Vermilion Parish is shut down for two weeks
Y'all started getting the Rona a little later than Nola and BR.

No, I’m not saying any one is deathly ill but most people I know are forced to test if they come into contact with someone positive and a lot of those are also coming back positive. Had 4 more people leave work here recently.

antigen = antibodies, no?
I think they need to be counted BUT I also think that they need to be in a different category.
Also, they need to determine ACTIVE cases.

spikes are going to occur
but the spikes will most likely be less than the previous spike
we never hit the highs in July/August that we did in April
I doubt we hit the highs now that we did in July/August
and I doubt we will hit the highs in the inevitable February/March spike that we will hit this time
each spike will be less than the previous

I know about a dozen people who have COVID at the moment. It's clearly running through Louisiana at the moment. None of them are reporting anything more than very light flu-like symptoms.

Honestly not being ugly ... who's being "Forced" to test? I'm working from home, husband is self employed. I guess we just don't have anyone to "Force" it on us.

Just heard doc say that new mutation is more contagious but less lethal........so that is good

oops ... skin can you explain antigen to me??
Also, are we sure that there isn't a cross over in testing for covid/flu?? How does the flu just freaking disappear?

employers are forcing people to get tested if they report that the were in close contact with someone positive
Posted on 11/13/20 at 12:35 pm to tiger91
People who want to be able to work. Their jobs are making them leave and get a negative test before they return.
Posted on 11/13/20 at 12:36 pm to TigersSEC2010
Dominion must be doing the count
Posted on 11/13/20 at 12:36 pm to hendersonshands
But I thought the CDC said no negative tests needed to return to work? I realize employers can mandate their own businesses ...
I'm about to lose my mind with this shite.

there is scientific evidence of viruses blocking other similar viruses
it makes sense from a biological/survival perspective
or you could just go the easy route and say its a conspiracy
