Really can’t stop thinking about Fessy not going into elimination

Kyle was feeling his oats when he cashed out Fessy. He knew he was about to pick Kam and get insulated into a huge alliance and he also just kicked the shite out of Joseph.

Joseph obviously thought that the Challenge was going to be kind of like the old days when everybody just partied snd didn't take it that seriously.

You could tell he really was not expecting to to be like a gladiator match. He was totally taken aback by how fiery and tenacious Kyle was.

Fessy won't get another elimination that easy for the rest of the season. If he was just holding out for Hall Brawl. That's a dumbass move. He obviously thinks he's going to win every daily challenge. Got news for him, that anchor named Aneesa ain't going to win you shite unless it's all popularity contest type challenges from here on out.

Also love that Kyle set the tone for switching partners. He could have easily said I’m sticking with girl loyalty blah blah. Now I feel like no one afraid to be the first to switch and could get exciting.

And it would be fitting for Fessy to wait for hall brawl and then have to go up against CT. Fessy is a beast but CT in brute strength contests is still a beast. Would be awesome if he wanted for that and then someone like CT (or even better, someone smaller) sent him home.

Fessy can beat anyone in hall brawl but CT, Darrell, Corey, Nelson, and maybe Nam would all be tough outs.

Yeah I kind of touched on that in another post, and I don’t think that’s uncommon for rookies, especially the girls. It’s actually one of my favorite things at the beginning of seasons.

These 20 year old wannabe “influencers” think they’re there to party, look pretty, and maybe hook up and all of a sudden some 30 year old Ghost of Christmas Future doing this for their rent money is punching them and shoving their face in the dirt and they just can’t process it

To quote a Christmas classic, “Youth is wasted on the wrong people”

Yeah I like Fess but man that was a really big mistake. He’s going to have a hard time living that down because it really did just look like he was scared.

Fessy is definitely on the big head train since he did okay last season. But you're right though, he definitely has an inflated opinion of himself. He's a great competitor, but has a horrible social game since he seems to be loyal to nobody but himself and relies on people being scared of him. It's like he's trying to become the new CT who can just coast through seasons without much effort on either side (comps and social).

Would be amazing to see Fessy make a move to go against Kyle in elimination to take his skull, and then Kyle sends him home. That's what I am hoping happens.

All that being said though, I do like Fessy and think he's a great addition to the show. I just don't like his puss move and love Kyle way more, especially since he had the balls to call him out in front of everyone.

Didn't Fessy end up finishing behind Bananas, Kyle, and Corey last final? I know he finished behind Bananas and Kyle, plus Jenny of course who beat them all.

He might have worked on his cardio since last season, but big guys like him have a history of gassing out in the finals. I'm glad Kyle called him out, and most of all I love the skull twist that they brought back so people can't just coast to the finals without going in.

I don't really understand the Fessy love. He is huge and one of the best competitors no doubt. But he is pulling the classic "I had some success my first season and will come in acting like a big dick next season."

Personally I already liked him a lot from Big Brother. And I really don’t think it’s his ego driving him this season he just honestly isn’t very smart. He’s kind of aloof and just goes with the flow for the most part. I don’t think MTV is showing that it’s Nelson, Corey, and Kam pulling his strings. He was proven to be a complete fool in BB and it’s mostly because he’s way too trusting.

quote:

It's obvious several of the big players in the house who thought they were teaming up with him realize he is playing them.

Again, he only flipped the vote when he saw the others, like Kyle, lied to him.

Had he told Cory and Nelson what he was doing, they would have explained to him why it was a bad move. But he and Aneesa agreed to keep the vote secret so he didn’t have their guidance. He really is just not strategic at all.

quote:

Fessy is a classic case of thinking you are a bigger player than he actually is.

He’s the most accomplished male athlete in the shows history outside of Theo, and probably the biggest.

He has plenty of reason to be a little cocky, at least in eliminations, although finals are always tougher on big guys like him.

That’s why his skipping on this elim was just dumb. There’s no guarantee he’ll win the challenge the week hall brawl is so he may not get to go in on that one.

I wonder if part of it was just not knowing anything about Joe and not wanting to risk it with that unknown. Joe wasn’t small so maybe he just thought this wasn’t the time to risk it when his alliance seemed in pretty good control of the game at that point.

They need to go back to the last place team getting automatically sent to elimination and then vote on the challenger. I hate watching weak teams get dragged along just because they are willing to vote with the pack.

Yeah I 100% agree on this.

Anything to take the group think out of it. Although the big group would still just keep voting in the Wes or whatever. But at least he wouldn’t be going against his allies like CT or Kyle, which they can set up under this format.

Although the skulls factor would have to be adjusted because then the power alliance would just vote themselves in against the weak teams. That does still carry some risk though, so it wouldn’t be as easy as it seems.

I just think making it as performance based as possible is when it’s most fun. These big groups totally running the game is always boring, even when it’s players I like doing it.

What makes the daily challenge champs getting immunity and the last place team going automatically in so great of a format is because even good teams get games they suck at and then you always have the possibility of people throwing missions.

And that shite just makes for excellent TV.

Perhaps my favorite moment ever on the Challenge was when Evan threw the daily challenge on Rivals 1 to try to kncom CT out of the game.

Nehemiah, who hated Evan with a passion, was paired with him and had no idea it was about to go down.

It was a water zip line challenge and Evan just flopped off the handle way too early and then leasurly swam to get last place.

When he fell and it was obvious what he was doing, he just yells to the whole cast: "which way is the Jungle?!?"

Afterward, Nehemiah was so insanely pissed. He says to TJ: "this game is full of a bunch of bitches... And I'm playing with the biggest bitch of all."

It's probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on The Challenge in what was probably the best season the show ever had.

That moment is classic MTV Challenge. I think with the influx of all these big brother people, the producers have taken a lot of the classic challenge strategies out of the game and made social bullshite and politicking without repercussions way too prevelant now.

Wes and his partner would have easily won that ice water challenge and he could havd totally flipped the game. Instead, he does great and then is left begging to be a "janitor" in fessy's group.

Kind of disappointed in Wes tonight. Maybe it was because he knew Devin needed the money more, but it looked like he almost gave up.

Agreed, or he maybe signed up for a few week appearance that Bananas and CT have also rumored to have done in the past. I also felt there was a bunch of footage of Wes that MTV showed in the season preview that had not aired yet. If so, good curveball on their end. The game loses some luster for me when Wes leaves.

On another note, Kam is beyond horrendous. Stop acting like you’ve ever done anything close to warrant the false attitude she tries to put up. I feel for LeRoy in real life...

No doubt Wes let Devin win. Devin had been trying to come back for a few seasons and he’s had a lot of bad personal shite going on. And Wes is fine professionally.

I love how they are clearly making shite up as they go. With partners and people picking a girls’ elimination and all that. TJ even said they drew names for the challenge which is clearly bullshite since everybody was about the same size. That challenge looked fun as hell. Multiple injuries make me wonder if it was padded enough though. And that sucks for Nicole.

Josh saying “I don’t want to get involved” is hilarious.

Josh also saying “if you have a problem then step the frick up and say something” is hilarious when Devin is literally doing exactly that.

I can’t tell if Darrell’s partner (Amber B I think?) is hot or not.

“Hey josh, what’s 8 times 9?”

Wes’s mind is clearly not in it, but he should have won that elimination. And he sucked it up. And he’s been acting like a bitch this season. And his speech at the end was faggy too. He’s good tv but he’s a shell of himself. I hope we can get roided Wes one more time before he retires.

Devin is an idiot for not taking Natalie. And now Cory has her.
