I'm not sure LSU missed. I think they moved on. When you have the commits LSU has at WR and you have other position needs the coaches finally just moved on. BJT is good but we are not talking about a Randy Moss type talent here. He had his chance and didn't want to commit so now he can go somewhere else. No hard feelings but LSU doesn't need him. They need top OL top CB and DL

If anything you take him just so Bama doesn’t get him. Either way WR isn’t a need or priority.

I don't think we've stopped pursuing him and would take him but I've mentioned before that I could see a point where he isn't committable any longer. If we land Foreman, Smith, Leigh and another OL, somebody has to get left out. It's just simple math. WR isn't that high in the list of priorities with the kids committed. Of course we could lose a kid or 2 so you never stop pursuing him and his talent speaks for itself.
If there are any legs to the "bag" rumors(which I have only heard and am generally skeptical of) I could definitely see the staff backing away. We cannot give the NCAA any ammo to hammer us currently. My curiosities lead me to believe he's gonna end up at TAM, not Bama. Got a McKinley Jackson feel to this recruitment.

We don’t need The Walker kid.. he waited too long... probably not coming anyway.

I can def. see the staff telling themselves "we not gonna wait around for someone who is all but enrolled at bama" But also have that lifeline saying "hey u want in? commit and lets go"

Tricky situation. We have an outstanding haul at WR. BTJ is a player every team in the country wants. Do we take 5 WRs in a year when we only have 1 Oline guy so far? I understand we expect to get Leigh but I am in the camp that we absolutely need 3 Olinemen when finishing this class (actually think we should take 4 or 5 every year). Numbers are getting tight. Looking at the class, I would expect a safety and/or one of the pass rushers is forced out.

Have seen him twice this year. I see the great body just don’t see the athleticism I expected. He could be more Malachi than Terrace. Time will tell.

All will be fine.

When I was probably your age, I hardlegged for rayray bivons and Antonio Hargrove.

Didn’t get them, we were just fine.
