I had the 3 meat(2 ribs+brisket), mac and cheese, and pork beans. All very good. They gave me a sample cut of beef ribs and it was delicious. This was 2 weeks ago. I hope to drop by after work again.

Hard to beat for 15.99

I think it's pretty darn good for what it is. B- overall. It's probably the best BBQ in the BR city limits, which says a lot about the BBQ scene here

If you can get them to cut the brisket correctly.

Dude, no shite. It boggles my mind that they can’t train them on the simplest aspect of serving their own food.

+1 to Whole Foods having the best bbq in BR. Sad but true.

It's no Memphis Mac but it's decent. For the best in town hit up Mamphis Mac on larkspur by exxon or when he gets his spot at Millennial Park open. Ribs up, Bones down bitches

Whole Foods bbq is okay - nothing I'm dying for
We love their wings you can buy at the deli and we cook them at home - restaurant quality

We love Rouse's rotisserie chickens, best in town, you can either get the whole chicken or they cut some of them up and you can buy it that way

I like Fresh Market's prepared meals - good prices and good for home cooked meals during the week, pretty good pricing for what you get

Says more about your lack of restaurant knowledge.

Memphis Mac and Hannah Q on Government Street probably has my favorite BBQ right now.

And yes, while in Port Allen, Cou-yon's is very good as well.

Is this location much different than the Prairieville one? I remember going after they first opened and wasn't impressed with their meat (that's what she said).

I’ve never been to the Prairieville location, but have visited the Government location a few times. Tried most of the meats and the sides and all have been very good, especially their brisket, which seems to be the hardest thing to find around here.

It’s pretty good quality and surprisingly cheap.
