Everybody on here keeps saying that UGA is overrated and they're going to get pounded in BR, but no one has explained why? Besides the location, I don't really see any other reasons as to how LSU will win this game. Explanations?

Maybe, but that is mainly based on the schedule

How is Stanford going to defeat USC in 2007?

There's no way.

Oh wait. Nevermind.

LSU is a really good team, we are going to have a great front 7 and our CBs will have some experience under their belts.

Our O-Line will feature two guys that are possible first round picks and CS/KW/RM/TH will make for a very potent ground attack.

D Byrd/Lafell are very good receivers that can make up for an unknown at QB.

Take your pick.

DallasDawg, meet the Rantards.
Having the game at LSU (hopefully at night) will give a huge advantage.

But I foresee a VERY close game. This is one of the games on the schedule I actually am expecting us to lose this year, along with UF and possibly AU.

this lsu team i think is better than last years.kinda flying under the radar.reason why is weve lost perriloux(our qb last season was only ok)we have lb and cb issues.patrick patterson and ryan baker will fill them voids.youll see when georgia visits lsu.

lsu has the front 7 to stop UGA's running game and you have no proven receivers. also, LSU's OL/RB combination should be able to run on pretty much anyone. i think the game's a tossup, but there are plenty of reasons LSU could win

because LSU will have the best front 7 UGA will gog against and likely limit the success of Knowshawn Moreno. This will force Stafford to make plays with his arm which he hasn't proven he can do on a consistent basis. Plus, the UGA receiving corps is weak to say the least.

Yeah, no kidding. I think your rantards pretty much dominate the board. I'm willing to bet the majority have never attended a single class at LSU, go figure.

I'm really not that concerned about LSU this year. I don't think we'll blow you guys out, but I don't think it's going to be very close either.

I'm seeing lots of reasons as to why we won't score much on this thread, but I've yet to see one person say how they're going to score on our defense. Probably because they know they won't

certainly not if we don't run the ball. I look for this to be a sub 20 point game for both teams. Could easily end 17-14 or so.

LSU's front four will bottle up moreno for the most part and put constant pressure on stafford...LSU's corners wont be great but will be helped greatly by two three very good safeties(coleman, jones, taylor)

LSU's qb will have several very good receivers to throw to, even though the qb will be relatively inexperienced. RB's are just as good(when all are put together as georgia's)if not better..TE's are about even..

As you asked for explanations I must ask the same of you? What sets UGA apart from LSU, each team have their strengths and weaknesses.
