LSU's offense averaged 38 ppg last season and they just got a whole lot faster all around.. especially in the loaded backfield.. The O-Line is probably the best ever in LSU history as a whole.. Extremely seasoned. QB is the only concern and we shall see how it all shapes out.. I'm sorry but I believe LSU is far more talented overall than UGA.. I can't wait for this game.

Look, yeah we beat Hawaii. We also beat UF, AU, KY, Bama, etc.

Did you beat KY? Did you struggle with UF and AU?

I think LSU is a talented team, I think it'll be a great game, but lets get real here..you lost to fricking Kentucky and Arkansas last year..with a 5th year Senior QB. You lost the heart/soul of your offense and defense. I think we'll be able to give you a game in Tiger Stadium. If you don't I suggest you rewatch your team choking against Arkansas and Kentucky down the stretch last year.

Last time I checked you LOST to S.Carolina and Tennessee. Who beat both of them last year? I'm not sure where you're going with argument chief. You're starting to sound like the Gumps and their "Seven degrees of the ULM loss." The this team beat that team and we beat this team so that means we're better than that team shite is childish at best.

Where am I going? I'm asking what makes all these LSU fans think you are undefeatable, more talented than everyone else, and that you'll just mop the floor with UGA and the rest of the SEC? When you lose to ARK and KY then you might be a good team, you can even win and NC (as you showed) but you sure as shite aren't invincible. I don't know if we were better than LSU last year..we didn't put ourselves in a position to play you at the years end. But I do know that your team last year could "be had" and that this years looks weaker than last.

Well, I'm not sure you should put much stock in what some of the idiots on this board say as far as LSU being invincible. However, we tend to fare pretty well when a team comes in with a chip on their shoulder which I'm sure your team and definitely your fans will bring to Tiger Stadium. You better hope we're having a complete season melt down by 10/25 or it could be one miserable weekend for the Bulldogs in B.R.

It'll take UGAs best game in a few years to beat LSU this season. But make no mistake, we have the talent and coaching to do so. Don't know if we will or not.

It is the same this year for Georgia as it will be for LSU next year in Athens. It will take a helluva ball game from either visitor to have a shot.

dawgorama- Any concern over there in Athens with all of the offseason issues, that you guys might be getting a case of the 'big heads'? From what I see, that would be my biggest concern as a UGA fan besides the schedule.

The problem is the Georgia fans who wonder "How is LSU going to beat Georgia." There's no question Georgia can win, but I think LSU is the favorite. Just more talent.

That 5th year senior QB you're talking about had 1 actual start under his belt. Don't make it out to be like we lost an ultra experienced QB.

And most people thought we lost too much talent before the season last year to make a run. Starting QB, RB, both WR's, all world Safety, etc.

People keep making up reasons why LSU can't do well, and in recent years, we have.

Edited to change "always" to "in recent years"

Dawgorama most LSU fans don't think LSU is invincible. Most LSU fans think the LSU-UGA game this year is a toss up. Don't be misled. I will say that losing TS for the year will really hurt Georgia.

well being from the same shite hole town he is from and the fact he left college early without a degree and I haven't heard his name so far on any NFL preseason roster no I would think burgers sounds about right unless you know so damn much and would like to tell us what he is up to.

It took me about 10 seconds to figure out he's on the NY Giants and has been since the NY Jets released him.

It was difficult, but I went to NFL.com and low and behold I found out more than you seemed to know (even as an expert from his hometown). Don't know if he'll make the Giants Roster again, but he had 6 carries in the past weeks game (more than any other back). I'd say he's got a shot.

I like the point about how LSU lost all that talent after 2006 yet still won a NC in 2007. And how Matt Flynn really had no experience..

A better question is why the hell do people think UGA will be so good and what exactly makes you think they can beat LSU in BR????

We have more returning starters, especially at key positions, out of anyone in the SEC. If we pick up where we left off last year we'll be unstoppable.

quote:

UGA lost their two best olinmen (Adams, Velasco) and will be moving a DT to RT. Will the line be as good as it was last year? Will this line be able to stand up to LSU's dline, one of the nation's best?

Will Asher Allen and Prince Miller improve as the starting CBs? Will they be able to hang with Demetrius Byrd, Brandon LaFell, and Terrance Toliver (lemme answer that...no).

Who will replace Marcus Howard? Will the dline be anywhere near as good without his speed rush disrupting the timing of opposing offenses? Will UGA's dline stand up to LSU's dominating oline?

We'll have one of the best O-lines in the conference, even with the lost to our All SEC LT. Say what? Do you even know which team you're attempting to talk shite about? Please, tell me which DT has been moved to RT? No, the line won't be as good, it'll be better. It'll be able to handle LSU's DL better than the Tiger's OL will be able to handle our DL.

Allen and Miller improve? They didn't have much room left to get any better. Are you sure you're talking about UGA here? They'll eat Byrd, LaFell and Toliver for lunch.

Oh, TRUST ME, Howard will be a pleaseant memory by the start of the season. Familiar with Geno Atkins or Jeff Owens? If not, you will be, so will your QB's (I used plular because you're going to need them all) all with your RB's. Ellerbe, Curran, Washington, Dent, Dewberry, who ever we throw out there, they'll put on a hitting clinic for you boys down in BR. Be prepared to take notes.

quote:

perhaps you should be....I would be very concerned if LSU was traveling to UGA, so I don't know if the above statement was made out of ignorance or stupidity. I tell you what you can do.....toss that UGA "Dawg" into Mike's cage, and then we'll see that BIG CAT EAT!!!

As I said in my original statement. I don't think we'll blow LSU out of the water, but I do think we'll be in control for the duration of the game.

quote:

UGA might have 2 losses coming into that game, so I think that LSU is just as good as those teams the dawgs might lose to.

Wow...just...wow....

quote:

The UGA running game is just as over-rated this year as in '03, and will be effective, but not uncontrolable.

PLEASE, elaborate on how our running game was overrated in '03, since our running game wasn't even "rated" then. I think you people just make up shite as you go. It's most amusing.

quote:

We win the battle in the trenches, Louisiana has better athletes, and we have better coaches.

You guys are seriously killing my sides today. I can't stop laughing.

quote:

You sound like a 'dogtard',maybe one that has turned white after a while. I guess all Georgia posters on message boards have PhD's.

Not necessarily PhD's, but it's easy to spot uneducated bandwagoners like yourself.

quote:

fricking Georgia fans. Georgia blows out a vastly overrated Hawaii, the media jumps on the bandwagon, awards them with a paper only #1 preseason ranking, and Georgia fans wonder how the defending National Champion can beat them.

Son, LSU has earned it's place atop College Football. Show a little respect.

Next, why don't you ask the SEC coaches why they voted more LSU players on the preseason all SEC teams than any other team. By far.

Too funny for words. You badmouth UGA's preseason ranking, but in the same breath brag about your PRESEASON All-SEC votes. The hypocrisy on this board is beyond laughable.

Respect? LSU has backed into two National Championship games by the grace of the football Gods above. It's bad enough how they made it each time as being miraculous, but being equally as lucky is to play two overrated opponents (one didn't even their conference) is hilarious.

quote:

What the frick is twisting this bitch's tit? Nobody is being unreasonable in this thread.

Apparently if you think your team is better than LSU then you're a POS fricking tard according to the majority on here. And you thought Saban was a baby. I think it was just a reflection of his fanbase while at LSU

quote:

You also probably didn't see the need for a last second field goal to win at Vandy either. Not to mention your team celebrating on the center of Vandy's field after (that was embarrassing for UGA). This was the same team that was being praised for their victory over Hawaii. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves Dogs...

You lost to UK and we beat them, so what? UF has had some scares by Vandy as well in recent years. The "celebrating on the V" bs is just that, bullshite. They ran out to congratulate the kicker and he happened to be standing on the V at the time. Richt overreacted that time.

quote:

Better O-line, better D-line, better skill position players, better O Coordinator + playing at night at Death Valley = win for LSU.

No offense, man. But you were the one who started this thread under the presumption that only idiots could think LSU has a chance to beat UGA this season.

It should be a great game. And I hope you and the rest of the country continue to have little respect for LSU's football team.

Yes, second to LSU's O-line.

Ha, ha, wow just wow. You are talking about one of the best WR groups in the country as minced meat.

I will be as unbiased as possible saying that it should be a great game that comes down to the wire, but if you think your O-line, D-line, or group of WR can measure up to ours, you are mistaken. I'll give UGA the QB position, a slight lead at RB (closer than most think) and the CB's.

The most important two things about an even matchup will be the game is at "Death Valley", and Georgia's defense has not seen the mastermind of Crownton's offense yet. He can score points on any defense - Ask Ohio State.
