Apples or Oranges?

Pick one.
As a raw fruit, oranges are a better bite: sweet, loaded with vitamin C and far more juicier (the better tasting juice, btw). Plus it comes in a sturdier/durable natural peel packaging with individual slices inside. Plus, they don't oxidize in 5 minutes.
But if I can only pick one, the versatility of apples may put it on top, as I can't live without apple pie.
Apple it is.

Apple. Way more varieties to pick from. Honeycrisp is my current fave, but I always love a Granny Smith, Jazz, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious etc. But I disagree with the better juice.

Are they? I've never washed an orange that wasn't obviously dirty, but I always wash my apples. And a knife is not required for sharing oranges.
The whole (red) apple has to be eaten in a very limited time once bitten or cut into .
