Regardless of who the president was? Mine never really has. Just curious.

Today I realized that the ways I was brought up in NJ, PA, NY, and LA seem to no longer represent where the USA is headed. I have lost faith that people genuinely are good people with morales and values. Also learned that WA is not where I am meant to end up long term, it's too far gone

Never knew this about you. I guess you conceal your political beliefs on the travel board. Seems a bit extreme for you to say something like this.

Financially it has changed some. Also, my son plans on joining the military in the next few years so I'd prefer a president that doesn't create war for profit. That has the potential to really change my life.

I do a lot less looting, rioting and resisting when a democrat is president. That extra free time will be nice.

We have reached a tipping point. The Democratic Party is no longer just a liberal party who may want to set the upper tax bracket at, say, 35% while the Republicans want 26% or the like. The radical fangs are out. They are now hellbent on the destruction of America as we know it.
Before the “above the fray” independents come on here and try to argue, look at this past year. Massive unconstitutional overreaches in the name of public safety. Destruction of our heritage (it was just going to be Confederate statues. How long did that last?) More and more calls for socialist programs like the Green New Deal and reparations. There is no putting the genie back in the bottle.

I said the same shite today, my life is pretty damn good regardless of who the president is. Now if he would move us completely to socialized healthcare I would likely be fricked, but that isn’t happening.

I just hope my taxes don’t increase too much.

Myself, family and friends have gone to or not gone to war based on the actions of Presidents.

Countries around the world have profoundly changed based on the actions of Presidents numbering in the billions of people.

Economies have improved and people have become employed because of the actions of Presidents.

So my answer is billions.

Louisiana did poorly under Obama after the oil spill and then after 2014 when the price crashed due to lowered demand in China and elsewhere
Now with covid it is continuing to languish.

Biden will add another layer of regulation to an already thin margin. Not good

The oil and gas business is in for a tough time

I had to lay off people that worked for my company for years during the Obama years. People with young kids. Taxes increased, regulations stifled my business and raised costs and healthcare costs skyrocketed. Only way to keep the doors open. In less than 4 years my business boomed like never before and we hired more people. Does that count as significant change? Business owners are not stupid. We all have a bottom line. You take more, we have to cut more. Simple.
