Left handed shotgun

I am thinking about finally upgrading to a left handed shotgun. My Question is has anyone had any experience with a left handed shotgun other than benelli and beretta? Also, any websites you may know for used guns in LA? I am not in a rush so I do have time to shop around. I am currently leaning towards a new A400 Lefty.

Ithaca. Ejects shell from the bottom. Righty or lefty can use it.

Browning BPS does the same. I have 3 of them, as I am left handed.

I'm a southpaw and i despise left handed guns. I just don't look or feel right to me. All my guns are normal lol

Are you looking for a pump or a semi-auto?
I've never had issues with shooting RH pump shotguns left handed. My Browning A5 however, pops the shells right into the bend in my arm.

I had a late 90s Remington lefty 11-87 that I sold a few years ago. Still have a lefty 870 and a Benelli SBE3, as well as a Browning BPS. All have been trouble free.

Can only help you with where to look at them in Louisiana, Simmons has a good selection of lefty guns and good pricing.

semi-auto. I have always shot right handed guns, but figured if I go new Id get me a lefty.

Good Luck Finding a left hand model and when you do you better buy it. My father and my son are both left handed, I catch hell buying them both guns! Some gun companies only make so many left handle models a year.

I had a rem1187 it was junk, numerous breakdowns and jammed a lot, I now have a benelli and love it.
My only advice is get one that you will want to use for everything and I mean everything. Once you get used to the safety on a LH gun going back and forth to a RH is a PITA.

So glad my grandfather got this for my dad when he was my son's age.

I shoot left handed and have a standard black SBE2 for hunting and sporting clays when I was getting started. Someone offered to trade a LH camo SBE for it so I tried it out for a couple weeks and didn't like it. It wasn't 100% LH. I think it was the release that was still on the right side. I felt smoother with the RH gun.
My point is, find one to shoot before you buy to make sure it is really what you want.

Walk/Call in local gun shops and see what they have. I was in the same exact boat as you last November. Was between the SBE3 or A400. I knew both guns would be great, but for some reason leaned towards the a400.
Ended up buying a barely used LH Black SBE3 at Puglias that was on consignment. Haven't had any issues except for not cycling a shell after shooting a reloaded shell.

I'm a lefty and I shoot a Franchi Affinity. I like it. Got it about 1 to 2 years back.
Also have a Browning that ejects from bottom, but like the Franchi better.

My only experience is with benelli. My SBE has been worth the money.
