Gonna ask a dangerous question: when did O come to love LSU?

The narrative have been he’s some kind of LSU legacy. A coach born to lead the Tigers.

In its most organic state, he quit before it even started and went to North LA to play for the demons.

He was not a Tiger. He chose to not be a Tiger......

I’ve never understood this.

ETA: to be very clear. I appreciate the moves he made to bring a NC to LSU and do believe he gets his due credit. But, enhancing the storyline has always been a head scratcher.

Very young age. Grew up listening to LSU on the radio. You should read his new book, flip the script.

The narrative for most of my life was that there was bad blood between LSU and O. The Kiffin Tennessee years would be an example of this.

And chose to be a Demon......

Didn’t read the book. How does he explain quitting?

I doubt LSU wanted him back so it’s not like he chose to go to NSU over LSU. I believe it was a year or two after he quit. I don’t recall hearing why he quit.

I said this when he was hired. It was the worse day in the history of the program from a strategic perspective.

I don't care if a coach loves LSU. It's utterly irrelevant.

Did Saban love Alabama before he got there?

Did Dabo love Clemson?

It. Doesn't. Matter.

Great coaches want to win - wherever they are.

Syracuse was also his dream job, with the condition that they give him an interview.

Orgeron loving LSU is fake news. For anyone paying attention the last 20 years, his dream was to be at USC.

LSU became a hell of a fall-back plan.

And now the narrative has morphed
