Reason #957,278,194,237 to hate the Left

quote:

The Girl Scouts were not the only organization to issue a non-partisan tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barrett only to delete it after a woke mob descended upon their Twitter page. Apparently, the Kappa Delta sorority, of which Amy Coney Barrett was a member, also deleted their congratulatory post.

“To our sisters and others who were hurt by yesterday social media post or subsequent removal, we are deeply sorry,” the sorority said in a statement. “Our approach was disappointing and hurtful to many. We do not intend to enter into a political debate, take a stand on the supreme court nomination, caused division among our sisters, or alienate any of our members. We now understand that was the impact.”

“Earlier this year, we began an intentional journey for the betterment of our organization, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion,” it continued. “Part of this process is recognizing we always need to have a more diverse group at all tables to make decisions in a more holistic, inclusive manner. Going forward, we will.”

how the hell was them congratulating a woman on achieving the highest honor and appointment in her career field "hurtful"

I wish everyone that complained about being hurt by words would stub their toe every day for a month so they can know real pain.

Total madness.

Conservatives have become pariahs in this country.

What Girl Scouts and KD did to ACB is so completely wrong that I feel like this is clown world.

THIS is why the LEFT must NOT BE ALLOWED the levers of power.

These sorry arse liberal MF'ers have effectively canceled an important and historic event in our nations history.

I'm not sure who to be more upset with. Liberals or the groups who give in to them.

Dumb arse twats, if you really cared about "diversity, equity and inclusion" then you'd allow a conservative at the table. By this action, you're making conservatives into social pariahs.

On top of that, you've refused to honor one of your members who actually deserves it.

Shame on you, KD!

Shame on you, Girl Scouts!

These groups need to stop deleting their tweets. Twitter is full of extreme views, mostly of the left. Just don't tweet if you don't want the backlash. But if you do, have the stomach to keep it. The small minority of extreme views on twitter shouldn't be able to dictate everything to everyone.

Exactly what was tweeted that offended the left so badly?

Anything short of a "Glad we are part of getting a white person selected to the Supreme Court" tweet, they can frick off.

Even with that, I'm certain it would be deemed honorable for a black fraternity to congratulate a black guy getting on the Supreme Court

They wonder why there is a silent majority.

I guess KD isn’t finger stinking good anymore.

They should ask the political leanings of their members and then boot anyone to the right of Obama.

Stop using Twitter. If you have something to say to someone, send a personal message. (IM, Text, etc...) You don't have to let the world know that you are congratulating anyone.

Stop Posting on Facebook. If you really have to wish someone, that you don't know the well, happy birthday, you might not be a close friend of them anyway. Just send them an IM. Again, you don't have to let the world know that you wished someone "Happy Birthday".

All these social media apps are designed to make the person making the post feel accepted. Hey, just live your life and post less, instead of posting how great your life is, when that's probably not the truth....
