If Trump loses, how long will it take for you to move on/recover/focus on future?

Few months?

Few weeks?

Few days?

Never?

I think if it happens, we need to focus on finding a suitable replacement to carry on the movement ASAP.

8:00 AM - November 4th

(But I plan on being hungover from a Trump landslide victory and I'll still get over that at the same time)

Never underestimate the stupidity of Americans. A large percentage of us want a Nanny State, so long as bread and circus continue unabated. I expect the worst from the moronic voting public, so the day after I'll have moved on.

How much of transform America do you not grasp? What makes you think there will be a normal to return to if the other side wins this one?

I’ll go about my business as always. The leftists will kill western civilization. It’s going to happen and a trump win can only delay it.

Is the difference really nanny state vs non-nanny state? Trump isn't exactly a libertarian

1. I can riot, bitch, moan, burn, cry, and enroll in a liberal arts college. or......

2. I can get up, go to work, and take care of my family.

In the framework of Covid, leftists are the Nanny Staters. They want to keep businesses closed and enforce mask mandates over a virus. Trump isn't a libertarian, but he's certainly not invoking the vague "public health" concerns to prevent people from earning a living. That's good enough for me right now.

Will suck the next day for sure. Honestly the way our government moves I do see a whole lot changing quickly no matter what. Now if dems get senate also then look out. mid terms are only 2 years away and historically that is used to balance things out.

If I can make it through Obama and two years of supermajorities in both houses, I could make it through whatever BS the Dems try to cook up now.

I don’t expect that happening, though. Trump showed the GOP how they need to play the game now.

Exactly. You go to work and hope that they don’t raise too much in taxes. If they do, divert some funds - Dems like to raise taxes and open loopholes. They will be regulating everything.

95% of your life will not be affected.
