Tied for third - Jax-Tiger and Lambdatiger1989 with 5 votes each.

Participation trophies for all the other entrants, plus a condescending pat on the head.

ruger35's prize is the fabulous opportunity to choose the main ingredient for the next F&DB Cooking Challenge.

Appreciate the votes guys. There were some really great looking ribs out there and fun getting to see the creative side of each person.

My first thought was to do Tri-tip as the next challenge, but after the creativity with this challenge I thought Tri-tip may be a little boring. I've decided to pick something that will challenge myself and I think bring a variation of submissions, Pork Tenderloin.

I just filleted and stuffed a pork loin this morning to smoke tonight.

It's currently in the fridge with the pork ribs that I meant to cook for the last challenge.

So, good call.

I’m thinking two weeks from tomorrow, Sunday, Nov 8. Submissions between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.

I think I gave more time than was needed for voting. Voting will end on Tuesday, the 10th, at 9:00 am.

What do y’all think of people choosing their top three, with 3 points for 1, two points for 2, and one point for third?

Any other suggestions?

BBrew, I think if your final pic had more of the rib meat showing, it would’ve been a top contender.

ETA: Not a criticism. I loved your results!

Congrats Roger and thanks for who all voted for me! Everyone had some great looking dishes. I will be incorporate Rugers samich into another rib idea I now have.

I’ll try to get in on this pork tenderloin for the next one!

When the contest is announced, there needs to be clarity as to whether only pork tenderloin is eligible, or if pork loin (center cut) is also eligible. There is a significant difference, but in my experience many people do not understand that.

He said tenderloin, so that’s what I will announce, reminding people there is a difference, unless he checks in and changes it to be either/or. Thanks for bringing it up.

Agreed. There was not enough cleavage in your pic...
