Elk just nonchalantly crossing the river and never knew the grizzly was behind him.

Top comment said that the Elk was fricked up by another Bull Elk and the bear jumped at the chance for an easy dinner. Still pretty beastly of the bear to kill it like that.

It was pretty interesting how he was rolling him over to get him back to shore.

Looks like the Grizzly bit through his spine and paralyzed the elk then he drowned. That bear has done that before.

Crazy that predators are just tuned to do that. My cat *ducks* does the same damn thing with rabbits and mice. First thing he does when he catches one is bite the back of its neck and paralyze the damn thing. Wild to see it extrapolated with a damn grizzly bear and bull elk.

I was there the day after. A larger grizzly took the elk over. Fella was huge.

That bull elk was fricked the second it went into the water.

That person who started the thread about his kid and how to handle when they are mad or whatever.. Should show him this video.. And say "Son! This is how life works. Sometimes you are the Grizzly and sometimes you are the Bull Elk.

Yeah, because someone who drools from one side of his mouth walks at a minute per step would get away from the Grizzly.
