Thanks, Trump boat parades are a blast that was my 3rd boat parade. The first was the 2,000 boat parade in Clearwater. Wish I had video of that one but I left my cell phone in the truck that day.

Yes, it went from Mullet Lake Park, through Lake Monroe and up to Redneck Beach where there was one hell of a party.

Which county? Are you in Seminole

Live in Lake, work in Seminole. The Trump support dwarfs the Biden support. Trump is in good shape.

If Biden’s team though they had a chance in Florida, The Kenyan would’ve been dispatched to Tampa or Orlando.

He wasn’t. Biden can’t win without PA. The Kenyan was sent to Philly.

Biden can feel the walls closing in.

I’m in a pretty liberal area in Orlando, and yes I’ve seen my fair share of Biden signs but I’ve been really shocked by how many trump signs I’ve been seeing. I grew up in neighboring Seminole county and it is trump country (always been red that county)

Seminole County is a bellwether to keep an eye on. Trump won Seminole by just 1.57% and it was one of the few Florida counties that shifted towards the Democrats more in 2016 compared to 2012.

Currently Democrat votes outnumber GOP votes by 7.05% in the county which is a very good sign for Trump. To be down just 7% at this point is one of the stronger data points for the GOP at the county level.

This is a county Biden has to win if he wants to win Florida. It's not looking good for him right now.

Yes, apparently there are 2 places in Florida known as Redneck beach. The one on the St Johns is just a little swimming hole about a mile north of the I-4 bridge in Sanford. Locals refer to it as Redneck Beach.

As of Thursday 9:30am (10/22)...

4.25M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 30%. Florida Democrats with a 463K vote lead over Republicans (1.92M vs 1.46M). 2.34M mailed ballots to be counted. 426K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (197K Dems vs. 124K Republicans). 352K ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade.

Note, looking at in-person voting over first two days, 1M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (483K) vs Democrats (392K).

With 2.34 million mailed in ballots yet to be counted the dems likely do have a 600k+ lead right now.

Can't ignore the pending mailed ballots which your numbers do.

You are correct Seminole County has always been Democrat, however my next door neighbor was just elected Mayor of Casselberry in a landslide and he is a gun totin' MAGA type guy. Could be a good sign for Seminole county going forward.

It may be an actual 17% advantage for the Dems, but don't you worry...all those dead people who are yet to vote will ensure that percentage gets increased quite a bit in the Dem's favor.

Thought so. I'm retired from Florida Power & Light, and worked at the Sanford plant a few times.

You might know my younger brother then. He worked in the Sanford plant doing their environmental testing in the 80s. When Florida Power and Light decided to shut down their in house testing lab they laid him off. Then he purchased their used equipment started his own testing company then he went back to work for them as a subcontractor. He now does the testing for Florida Power & Light, Florida Power, OUC, TECO and many other power companies across the southeast.

I didn't begin working in Power Generation, until 1992 at the Palatka Plant. I spent my first 17 years working on a line crew. I doubt I would have known him from the eighties.

I also did a little water testing as an operator/electrician and took the Buy Out in 2000. I was tired of the turmoil of ten years of restructuring.

They moth balled the Palatka Plant and finally tore it down about ten years ago.

I suspect that's what got your brother too.

I'm sure he knows Roxanne Kennedy, though. She is a friend of mine and became plant manager at Sanford, after she left the Palatka Plant.
