Who cares...Skip Bertmam loves money...he schedules people who don't require home and homes. He takes what he can get.

Thus, we have cream puffs.

Yeah, probably so but I hate both of them. So its a necessary evil for me.

Like I said in a thread yesterday, you're schedule isn't that much better than OSU's:

I think that's a halfway fair assessment this year. Our OOC is very weak. BUT, we potentially have an additional "very tough game" if we make it to the SEC Champ Game.

Guys, OSU is a very good team in the Big 10 & as Big 10 teams go, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State even Illinois are tough teams for OSU because OSU is the best of the Big 10...why so we have any problem with that...after all LSU & UF spanked them pretty bad in the Nat'l championship game and I don't think either team would balk at seeing 'me again for the crystal football...if the Big 10 coaches start following the SEC in recruiting talent, ie, speed & quickness at all positions assuming that kind of talent is available in the frozen Nawth...they could become competitive on the national stage.

We had our two best teams both years playing in BCS bowls so your 2nd and 3rd best teams were playing teams who usually weren't in our top 3 best teams.

A man who speaks the truth. Too often people look at bowl records to determine who is better. When the #2 team in X conference takes on the #4 or #5 team in Y conference then the #2 should be expected to win.

Also, how many coaches in the Big Eleven have won national championships? If Joe Pa can't remember his, it doesn't count.

Whether you think the Big10 is down or not...

Every team comes ready to play Ohio State.

OSU should learn from them, how to go into a game ready to play

True, I was just talking about current games on the schedule. And while this year, it'd probably be a "very tough" game in the SECCG, often times, it's only a "difficult" game or even just a "challenging" game (like, IMO, UT was last year).

It often evens out in the later bowls (and how can you compare conferences if you're not going to use the bowls (and OOC games) to determine who's better?)

Yea, Boeckman is surely crying right there.

I don't understand how LSU was the victorious team but some fans still have a bitterness towards OSU when the reverse doesn't appear to be the case and would be more likely

To be honest, I don't understand this either. Some people just want to gloat as much as possible. I think it's awesome that so many of you OSU fans are still on this board.

The SEC is the toughest conference in the country. And if it comes down to a 1 loss SEC team vs a 1 loss Big 10 team, then the SEC team deserves to go to the NC game. That's pretty much all that needs to be said.

^^ I agree. Unless LSU is still upset that the series between us is 1-1-1? I overall like LSU and the fans, yea they beat us, and deserved it.

The SEC is better, fricking DROP it.

The Big Ten is 3rd 4thish of best conferences, and is getting better.

Again, fricking DROP it.

Actually, Wisky was our third best team, and Arky was your runner-up in 06, so...

Excuse me...lets throw in some really pathetic teams in there to boost that schedule. I can't remember Wisconsin making it out of the Outback bowl in years.

Seems like Wisconsis comes here to the Citrus Bowl (CapOne) and kick SEC butt regularly! Tenn always lays one in the Outback.
Actually, except for tOSU, they do fairly well in bowl games!
