Neither team would beat USC or Utah..
Coach Tress is 4-3 in the BCS with a National Championship.

I'm sure a lot of other programs would take that....

Good Luck LSU!!

Well, it's been a fun 4 years down here in Tigerland, but I was handed my new orders and will be transferring out of Louisiana and headed to Indianapolis for the next four. It's been real fun, and I've grown quite fond of this place so, best of luck to u all!! Here's to an Ohio State vs. LSU 2009-10 BCS Championship!!

Good Luck vs GT..

I think they are all very prolific jobs. Florida and LSU would top the list followed by:

bama
uga

then the rest bunch together..
In our pool at work I have:

LSU vs. Missouri in the BCSCG

I picked LSU to win 28-27 on a blocked EP early in the 4th.

If I get these two right and the score is close to what I picked...i'll be the 4,000 winner!

:geauxtigers:
I will be the first to agree we looked like str8 arse today...BUT: I think it was a major case of looking ahead and playing DOWN to the level of the opponent. I'm confident you'll see a different team saturday night in the 17-10 win over USC...
We have not been allowed to return to base in Belle Chasse yet because there still is no power.

Although I only temporarily live in Louisiana being stationed here, I REALLY hope it does not hit NOLA or BR. This is a great state, with great people, and they dont deserve this crap again....plus I live here now too. Damn you to hell Ike, you bitch arse slut.
After tOSU's lackluster performance today vs. Ohio; it seems almost EVERYONE now thinks Ohio State will lose by 14+. Ohio State outscored Ohio 26-7 and Ohio had 7 off of a fumble in the endzone by Ohio State. Oh, Beanie Wells did not play in the game either (but was in tennis shoes on the sidelines, no boot)

Personally, watching this game I felt like Ohio State had a small case of the "looking ahead's" today, and pretty much played down to the level of the opposition.

I think that Ohio State has a great week of practice, finishes preparations for USC and goes out and gets redemption with a 17-13 defensive win!

GO BUCKS!!
I'm actually going to the USC game, it's going to be great.

Knut9; LSU fans are great, just passionate. I mean I drive around N.O. all the time with my tOSU decal and license plate, have my flag flying and all the regular stuff, and all my neighbors are die hard LSU...but it's all good because we all get along and enjoy the fact it's a game and we cheer who we love....not life and death.

Good Luck to LSU this season!

Well folks, as the season draws near (12 days away) I just wanted to throw out a :geauxtigers: and wish you luck on the upcoming season, of course unless you play tOSU again.

I'll be at the Appy-State game (provided I can find tickets) because I'm coming to BR to get the whole gameday feel up there before I transfer to either Longhorn, Trojan, or Hokie county!

^^^ I hope we meet the "Varsity" Dogs in Jan.
Although, I'd rather encounter it. I think this is our best team since '98 when we were upset by MSU.
^^^ Maybe I'm wrong on that then. I was going off the local news (WDSU) But I know the 7 game win streak and Arky dropping 2 was a factor.

In all, #4 at WORST.

LOL! I liked that.....funny. But, there is nothing any tOSU fan can say until we prove otherwise. We cant live off the 2002 title forever.

Cosmo, you are right.

50-14 LOSS vs. USC
31-26 LOSS vs. LSU
28-28 LOSS vs. UF (SECC)
17-14 LOSS vs. Wisconsin

Arky lost thier last three games of the season, and I think before wisconsin that is why (along with $$$) that LSU was selected over them for the Sugar Bowl. LSU had won 7 straight and Arky had lost 2 straight going into bowl selections.
^^^ Right, because when I tried to state that Arky was 7-1 in the conference, I was told that it is because the conference is split in 2 divisions. So, I went ahead and looked at what Arky did against the SEC #2 which was UT.

But like stated, it's an ongoing debate. The fact is in 2006 Arkansas was AT WORST a #4 team in the SEC not at best. Thats the point I'm making.
^^^ No. Think about it, LSU or Arky in New Orleans who is bringing more $$$$ in for that game?

Cosmo, yes it works because Arkansas and LSU are both in the West, and Arkansas won the west. It is not what happened in one game, it's how the season went.
