I tried Barefoot Pinot Noir today

I served a Barefoot Proseco last New Year at a Cheese Board dinner, along with a couple of Italian prosecos. The Barefoot was the clear favorite among our guests. So when I saw the Barefoot Pinot Noir at Walmart today for $4.98 a bottle, I figured what the heck.
It was delicious. Nothing complicated, a little sweet for a pinot, but very pleasant wine.
*13.5% alcohol
*The grapes are from California, but beyond that the label doesn't mention the specific AVA's.
*It's NV, but I assume it's a combination of the 2018 & 2019 vintages, although that's purely a guess.
At $5 a bottle, it's a steal

It's some good stuff, especially for the price.

The wife (no pics) enjoys the Riesling.

I’m not an old man not Ot baller, but I drink boxed and cheap wine on the reg and have no shame. If I go out or buy good steaks or seafood then I’ll often buy some decent bottles. But for a daily or weekly table wine for a Tuesday dinner the wines like above are more than suitable.

I'm going to stick with AldenAlli. That's a game changer Pinot.

Dark Horse cab is my go to for a ~$7 bottle. Probably have 2 or 3 bottles over the course of a week in our house. $6.35 at Rouses currently.

Same. Bota Box and Black Box are staples in our house. $19 for four bottles of wine is hard to beat. Some of their styles are better than others.

I like it when I serve my snobby wine friends a cheaper wine that they would buy and they like it...I never show them the bottle untill they have had at least two glasses...the look on their face is priceless

I know you’ve mentioned you like their Zinfandels, but man I love Ravenswood for an under $10 option.

Im a Bota Box Cabernet drinker. Dont know how the Barefoot Pinot Noir is but their Cabernet is horrible.

B&G is also a decent wine for the money.
I do know my sister-in-law drinks her share of Barefoot wine, especially the reds like Merlot and Cabernet/Sauvignon.

We typically drink fairly cheap wine other than special occasions or good meals. This one has been a staple in our house for quite a while.
