So let me get this straight.
- Barry Odom is fired by Mizzou on November 30 (last day of 2019 regular season).
- Odom accepts the DC position at Arkansas on December 13, two weeks before LSU plays OU in the CFP semifinals.
- Matt Rhule leaves Baylor to take the job with Carolina on January 7, a week before LSU plays Clemson in the CFP championship.
- Dave Aranda is named as Baylor’s new coach on January 16.

So you’re saying either:
1. LSU knew that Matt Rhule was going to get the Carolina job a month before it was made public, and knew that Aranda was going to replace Rhule at Baylor two months before it was made public, or
2. Orgeron was going to fire Aranda to hire Barry Odom?

Aranda was already being courted way before Baylor came. He agreed to take the UNLV job

Or after Aranda left they tried to get Odom to leave Arkansas.

Its still not outside the realm of possibility that O went after Odom regardless of him already being at Arkansas.

I don't believe this reporting, but it was expected that Aranda was going to leave and if you remember was close to taking the UNLV job in December. LSU probably was formulating lists of candidates around that time.

Or, Orgeron still wanted to hire him after he took the Arky job, but Odom said no.

I will forever appreciate what last years team was able to accomplish, but no managerial decision Ed has made leaves me with any confidence that he can sustain this. Brady was a stud who fell into his lap thanks to Payton and he left after one year. Every other hire... dogshit. Name one good hire Ed has made.

I am sure Aranda told CEO that he would be exploring options to be a HC. It just happened that it was Baylor. I think It was no surprise Aranda or Brady left and I am sure CEO had plenty of time to pick out who he wanted for those roles.

Maybe Rhule contacted Brady about coming on as OC before it was made official and mentioned Aranda being on the short list to replace him at Baylor.

Or he tried to get Odom away from Arkansas.
