Maybe he will develop like stafford at UGA did.

Stafford will be exposed this year in my opinion. He is no Tebow..........

lsu has a better defense and offense than USC. USC's ranking is a joke

He is no Tebow, but he doesn't play Tebows game so he doesn't have to be.

But Remember when they came out flat at the beginning of the year then finally got out of the gate...When stafford is on, georgia is pretty much unbeatable...but when he is off, they are an average football team.

hmmmm actually I think it's fairly close

D-line- LSU but both should very good
Linebackers- SC
Secondary- USC
O-line- LSU
QB- SC for now but who really knows
RB- Probably a push, two of the best groups in the country
WR-LSU

It's probably pretty even

Agreed Tigerstripe! I got tickets to the USC vs OSU game on the 13th and that shoud be the tale of the tape. It is the only LSU game I will miss this year.

OSU fan, my pic is OSU, well that is who I am pulling for. Damn USC, I have to live here for work, but could give a shite about them. You guys were more than great fans at the NC game last year and I have lost nothing in Hollyweird. Kick their pompass arse!!

Deal Brother. I went to the USC UCLA game two years ago where JDB flubbed the pass on the final drive with a co worker who was a UCLA grad and truly enjoyed it. I am LSU and was discusted to see tailgaiting classified by laying on a checkered red blanket behind a BMW reading a book, drinking wine and considering that "pre game activities". The left coast does not know the meaning of tailgaiting............

Please read the question before you post...or do feel an infantile thumb sucking need to post LSU responses to any USC related thread? Pavlov's dogs had less reactionary responses then some Tigah fans...

Secondary- USC

I disagree completely. You Trojans can't hang your hat on Taylor Mays, either cause we have Chad Jones.

TT was way overrated last year. That secondary wasn't too great. Who ya got this year now that TT is gone? I call BS.

No one ever said so publicly but I felt like USC players favored Sanchez over Booty last year. I think it's one reason the PC was so adamant about staying with Booty in the Stanford game, despite Booty's injury. I think it was his way of telling the players who was in charge and who'd determine the QB.

Also, the Trojan posters were right re: Arizona State. The Trojans absolutely spanked them last year and exposed their Oline woes. I'd be surprised if Georgia didn't do the same to them.

Sanchez was named the starter a while back after Spring practice.

After getting his feet wet last season, I think Sanchez will be fine. To his credit, he was the nations #1 pure QB out of HS and beat out another #1 or 2 QB for the starting job. His experience last year, although average, will bode extremely well for him.

I'm not part of the USC bashing bandwagon like some of these morons that have posted in this thread.

Anyhow, USC's OL needed to do a little tweaking over the summer and have to replace a couple guys. Wasn't O'Dwowd (right?) hurt last year? You can only say is prone to an injury.

USC's WR's alo leave quite a bit to be desired. I know you guys are smart enough not to put alot of emphasis on recruiting rankings once they hit the field. I do think that they are #2 because of their defense. Not their offense.

btw, of course Carroll is going to praise Sanchez after one day of practice. You really expect him to say something else? Sanchez will still have to go out there and prove himself because he was a step below Booty last year when it came to performance.
