Nicholson was filming a movie at the same time at an adjacent studio. Grease cast was raucous and partied so much during filming, Jack came over and told them to tone it down or put him in film

A hickey from Kenickie is like a Hallmark card.

Love Grease. But Rizzo gets pregnant during homecoming week and we dont find out it's a false alarm until graduation?

I rewatched it on a plane a few months ago.

I had forgotten how many duds some of the songs were.

Movie succeeds because the good songs are really damn catchy and Travolta and Newton-John are absolutely perfect for their parts.

Are you wearing the same shiny black tights/pants as Danny in the final scenes?

The High School used for the carnival scenes at the end is John Marshall High in Los Angeles. Same High School used for Van Halen's Hot For Teacher video.

I was ten years old when I saw it in the theaters (Probably the Robert E. Lee on Plank Rd.). It was a seminal moment for a ten-year-old boy when Sandy showed up in that black outfit.

ONJ was the first person to make me feel strange yet fun as a young boy.

My wife had to drag me into the theater to watch this flick ... and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad she did. A classic indeed.

And the opening theme song still kicks arse.

ONJ voice was as beautiful as she was. Still love her music 40+ years later. I think I’m one of about a dozen people that enjoyed Xanadu!
