Cat crunches the snakes head around .58 second mark then proceeds to roll around at the murder scene like a normal house cat.

People love domesticated dogs, but dislike wild dogs. People also dislike domesticated cats, but love wild cats. Strange.

Remember that thread on the OT that went like 20 pages asking if a grown man would win a fight vs a bobcat?

If the snake had just hauled arse and left the scene, would the bobcat have chased it? Or would the bobcat have just given up and gone about its day?

Given the final result, hauling arse couldn't have ended up any worse for the snake...

the velocity of the cat punch is amazing they are so quick and actually punch pretty hard in relation to other animals their size, I saw a tv show on it one time that snake was punch drunk by the time his skull was crunched

One of my mom's outside cats does that all the time. Yes she brings the dead snakes to the back door to show it off. Also she usually finds at least one rattlesnake nest in my mother's flower gardens and destroys it. I normally hate cats but I like that one.

That cat definitely dominated the rattlesnake but I’ve seen a large bobcat cower away from a raccoon. I always wondered which of those 2 is more dominant. Now I know!!
