I've seen plenty of "misdirection" by our team this year :)

Linehan was brought in specifically to help on 3rd down calls. LSU is 9-39 on 3rd downs so far this season (0-10 yesterday). What the hell is he contributing to the offense?

This is supposed to be Linehan’s duties. If it is, certainly he has stunk it up so far.

Yes, it does. It doesn’t matter about points scored. Look at the routes we run and the lack of creativity. No more RPO. No more crossing routes or attacking the middle of the field. And, since you brought up scoring, remember that we scored 24 points on a short field due to turnovers. We were 0-10 on 3rd down. That’s not gonna cut it going forward.

Throw should have been over the defender on third and Brennan should have thrown the ball sooner on 4th. Marshall broke open earlier and the throw a second earlier would have been a TD. Brennan rolled out and was looking at him the entire way. Not sure why he waited to throw.

It was a stupid call because that's not what Brennan does best. Why would we want to have him throwing on the run when we rarely do that with him? Also, Marshall is 6'3 and completely dominated that team yesterday. It would have been much smarter to throw him a fade at some point in those 4 downs and just let him go up and get it (which he has proven time and time again that he can do). The LSU coaches just made it more difficult by trying to roll Brennan out instead of just letting him stay in the pocket and put it up. It also somewhat neutralized Marshall's height advantage with just trying to sling one to the sideline rather than tossing it high up.

Looking more like the pre-Brady offense especially on 3rd downs and red zone

Wonder what it would look like if Cush, MaGee, Lewis, Charles, Jefferson, Chase, Moss, and Helaire were on the team.
We were all hoping there would be a smooth transition.
No one with an objective mind would think it would happen.

Attacked middle of the field a lot. Not being in stands how can you even see routes run. May see route in a few plays. Come on crazy talk. The whole SEC is whacky. Defense has disappeared in SEC.

Yep, if you absolutely have to throw to Carter, you could have lined him up tight on the last play, rolled out to the right and threw back to him in the left cornwr of the end zone after a delayed release. He would have been wide the frick open

Don’t disagree but look at the last play and Marshall had enough separation after the break to easily catch the pass. More than enough room to fit it in. Brennan hesitated and allowed the db to close. Agree with you on both calls but proper execution and we score both plays.

Brennan didn’t throw for 430 because of a short field
