First world problem

So what do you do? About 6 months ago my stepson put the ketchup bottle back in the fridge on a shelf, upside down. The bottle gets low, so when I open the fridge the bottle flies out and bursts on the floor. I told him and my wife, from now on, just put the bottle right side up.
I have noticed that it's still upside down from time to time, and I cringe and get pissed every time I see it.
So tonight, I go to the fridge to get something to eat, not even needing ketchup, but it falls out as soon as I open the door and I have to catch it before it hits the floor. The amount of cussing was uprecedendent.
I really want to go into my stepson's bedroom and squirt the entire bottle of what's left in the bottle on him.
Am I wrong or right?

Are you somehow still buying 90's ketchup bottles? Most these days are made to be put upside down just for that reason.
