Al Coffee.
I remember listening to the Ole Miss game on the radio and it seemed like within two seconds of the ball being snapped, Coffee was 60+ yards down field catching the pass. I remember thinking: damn he's fast.
Later I learned it may have been a result of the low quality radio announcer. If you listened closely you could hear Sid Crocker make the call of the stadium PA then the radio announcer would repeat it.

attended my first game in Tiger stadium when I was 9. That was in 1947
What game??
My brother was a student there in those years and invited the family down to a game. It was either '47 or '48 - watched Tigers play North Carolina - big matchup between Y. A. Tittle and Charley "Choo-choo" Justice.
I was fixated on the 'Choo-Choo' name and didn't pay much attention to YA.
But I was hooked on Tiger Stadium and knew I'd be there one day.

Charles Alexander. I used to love the tear-a-way jerseys worn by Alexander the Great. I wish they still had them.

Definitely Billy Cannon with Johnny Robinson close behind.

Michael Clayton
Watching him at LSU made me love run blocking and making big hand grabs in the neighborhood lot
