Why are republicans generally against abortions and democrats in favor of them

I personally don’t really care about abortion but it’s a major issue to us on the right in general for two reasons. 1) Religion is on the right and butchering unborn children isn’t very Christian 2) It’s nasty as hell to vacuum small humans out of big humans

Personally, I am a Republican, but I'm not totally against abortion. I am against abortion as a means of birth control, for people who have no discipline. That's just crazy and disgusting. Above all that, I am against my tax dollars funding it.

Supporting ideas that revolve around a lack of personal responsibility is unfortunately appealing to a ton of people.
"My body my choice" should start before you decide to take a dick and let them blow their load in you without being on birth control which is so easily accessible these days it's not even funny. Instead let's address the symptom (pregnancy) and not the problem.
I'm not saying all positions of the democratic party are bad, but they want that lowest common denominator vote.

280k were White (Whites make up around 63% of the population)
671k were Minorities
Republicans aren't the racists.
Democrat white women have 3 times as many abortions as conservative white women

Republicans are generally against abortion as a form of birth control. It's a means of last resort, not a convenience.
