Potential still there in the next 30 hours or so. HWRF gets it up to 125 MPH. HMON gets it up to 145 MPH or so too.

There's a legitimate shot that it goes through RI again. Certainly not what anyone wants to see.

Dammit man are you deaf? Why is your volume at 100?

, I touched the volume hotkey to help me decipher whether PrtScr would work alone or if I had to hit the function key first.

Regardless, the speakers on this XPS 13 are shite with 3 kids running around the house while watching Levi's video.

I know the talk is all about the 'cold' water in the northern gulf. Is there a temp that becomes unfavorable rather than just not-as-favorable?

Seems like it is always near the time of sunset. Probably already discussed but what causes this to happen?

Afternoon heating has something to do with it. There's some deep thermodynamics going on there that I'm not going to try to parse out.

I believe Duke said anything less than 80 degrees is actually problematic.

Roughly 26°C (78.8°F). But, that is just a rule of thumb. There's precedent for hurricanes to not be negatively impacted by water cooler than that. Water temp is not the definite killer that it once was thought.

Yeah he was calling for Lafayette to get blown off the map 70 miles from landfall. I bet he was pissed how tightly wound Laura was and didn't have a strong wind field out to Lafayette.
