PelFacebook groups are fighting now lol

Keep Jrue / Jrue needs to go!
Lonzo stays or goes...
BI sucks and is a ball hog, dont give him the max.. etc..etc..etc

Shouldn't us fans stop and wait to see who is the coach and what offense does he run first?

If 90% of the fans weren't throwing emotional shite to stick on a wall then maybe.

Lonzo should be traded so we aren’t forced to overpay him. Everything else depends on the offers. We, or rather Griff, doesn’t need to wait on a coach because he’s going to hire someone that “shares his vision” of the team.

PelFacebook groups

Why? It's not like we have any say in what the team does or doesn't do

1. It doesn't matter what we talk about. The front office functions independent of Pelicans Talk.
2. I hope the FO is capable of multitasking. Create a good, balanced roster and a good coach will be able to make it work. Make bad moves with the roster and it won't matter who becomes coach.

Professional Front Offices spend year round working on every scenario possible for the next few years. They have thought of what the salary cap is, who is available, multiple trade scenarios with each team, FA signings, the draft, etc.

They will bring in a HC long before any of this stuff happens, and likely want his input.

But considering Griffin said he wanted someone that "shares his vision", he will want someone that is on the complete same page as them as it goes with building.
