Starting Sunday it won’t be available in App Store. Full ban coming later. Citing National Security reasons.
I know the kids loved it. I like a lot of the new media in general but I think TikTok is a steaming pile of garbage.

Sadly no more nurse vids. The stuff I saw my kids and their friends do on there was appalling. I made my kids delete it a while back. They weren’t happy but I’m sure they find another way to release their teen angst.

They are shutting down the Chinese version on November 12th. It’s gives whoever enough time to get an American version running though.

I think TikTok is stupid as shite.
I'm all for sticking it to China and their duplicitous ways with these kinds of things.
But I can't deny the libertarian in me questions an executive order - from any president - telling people what apps that can and cannot download or what companies they can and cannot use.

Cheeto man said they are using Americans mobile phone data against us. TikTok transmits user data to China. Something I guess this administration thinks is a matter of our nations financial security.
