Are the severely mentally retarded or the chronically violent of equal value to the highly producing even if the latter harbor racist thoughts that are not acted upon?
Of course, these first examples will predominate in a world that sees no difference between the two.
And what does that say about human future genetic preponderance.
Non human animals cull their own, so why are humans exempt from nature’s ethology?

Anyone who equate the two in regards to value of life should immediately kill themselves.

Single, no kids here, so all live matter equally to me.

Zero value.

Don't tread on me or even look like you might, fair warning.

All people are created in God's image with inherent value. This idea was the basis for the inalienable rights that the founders of our nation agreed existed. If we have no inherent value then we have no inalienable rights, and our rights are merely benefits that we grant to ourselves or are granted to us at the whims of those with the power to do so with no objective basis for fighting back if they are removed; it would just be a war of competing preferences.

Capitalism naturally assigns value.

That's why people like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos have so much.

The public values their contributions to their lives and rewards them as such. If the public did not find Windows or Amazon useful or valuable these people would not be rewarded.

Conversely, a homeless bum who lives under a bridge isn't being assigned much value. He's not producing a product or service that the public values.

In a humanitarian sense, yes.

In a utility sense, hell no.

Is a sociopath or psychopaths lives valuable? Jeff Dahmer or Ted Bundy or George Soros, when they live to kill or injure other humans.

Is this a threat and should it be reported?

Agree.

In the traditions of some religions and spiritual beliefs, especially Christianity, yes.

In the secular world, (and it doesn't matter if it is capitalism, communism or feudalism) you're only as valuable as you are useful to others.

The US founders specifically excluded even white women and those serving in slavery and non landholders from equality so that defense just doesn’t work.

The interesting thing about the “value of life” topic, is that it CAN ACTUALLY be monetized.

No. And the thought that all people are equally valuable has caused a lot of problems.

You create your value as a person. It isn’t given to you (generally).

I take your point; but at they level I believe that they have proven, through deeds, to no longer be "human." ergo the question is not applicable.

What one values and what is protected are two entirely different things.

It's done all the time in wrongful death claims in our courts.
