Bob Pettit has lived in the same house for close to 50 years. Backyard is NOCC golf course and next to Longue Vue Gardens. John Goodman was his other next door neighbor in the late 80's, but since moved.

I was told that the Guidrys' are a good example of you can take them out of Lockport, but you can't take Lockport out of them.

You mean Harvey? Hence the name of his company is "Harvey Gulf"

The old man is from Lockport. And the Harvey meant Harvey Canal as in Harvey Canal Towing.

Gotcha. So wonder where the Ole lady ended up since the split, or are they back together?

The Roberts just built a massive house on Nassau a few down from Monteleone and his always open garage of badass Ferrari's.

Frank Levy lives on Pelham, sweet digs too.

I know that house well. I did not know it was Monteleone owner.

The Robert's supermarket owner? Is that the one on the gold course with the ridiculous pool/pool house?

There is one house they built on Pelham recently with a modern but slightly Spanish exterior. It looks like it could be a high end boutique hotel it's so large. It's one of my favorite houses in old metairie.

Yes, the supermarket family and technically its not a pool house, rather a chapel/residence for Priests or dignitaries.

Watched that house get built. At first I thought it was going to be more adobe (New Mexico-ish) style but they ended up doing a great job on it. Wife loves that wrap around porch.

Well damn.

That lot is huge.

Good for that family. I am surprised he never dabbled in old metairie grocery market. I guess Langensteins has that on lock down.

They lived there before Katrina took out the house. Was not as big then as it is now but I think the pool is in the same spot. My memory is a little fuzzy.
