Like another poster stated they bought up air space when cell phones were getting started and somehow the carriers had to pay them to use that space. At least that's what I was told. I've met Michael through mutual friends a few times (I'm around his sons age). We went over to their house on Jordan River in Ms. once and it was a trip to ride around dirt bikes and see their zebras and buffalo.
