Trump’s Woodward interview...

Serious legal question:
Do individuals who lost a loved one due to the “Wuhan Flu” have an argument for a civil suit against Trump and possibly Woodward?
Both men knew the “possible” dangers of the virus and it’s airborne transmission in early February... Trump admitted that it was likely 5 times more deadly than the flu and is on tape saying “ I played it down”. I still play it down because I don’t want to create panic”.
Is there a possibility to claim damages for a wrongful death due to negligence?
What if FDR hid the fact that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and were a serious threat? If we hadn’t taken decisive action they could have possibly taken Hawaii and been a serious threat to the west coast. It possibly could have changed the outcome of WW2 and at the very least lengthened it. The American lives saved by taking decisive action is incalculable.
What if a doctor waited to tell you or your family about a cancer diagnosis because it may cause you to panic? Would the be liable for medical malpractice?
Ignorance leads to fear and panic. The American people have proven time and again the ability to handle adversity.
