Laney Roos was a signee that pitched in HS but she transferred after her 1st semester. I can't think of one under Yvette either. Kirsten Shortridge hit lefty but she pitched righty.

One article I read she was asked about a college she is looking at. She said one that offered veternary medicine. LSU offers that don't they? Could that be another reason Beth could have offered her? Just think. maybe she can take care of MIke her 4 years here. And maybe that was on her mind to.

Elyse Thornhill was a player a few years back who is now in the Vet Med program. Very possible that that was a selling point. Whatever works, Jayden is a hell of a player.

this is amazing! I think she joins Maci Bergeron as being the only LSU softball player to be the overall #1 recruit at the time they committed.
I know that a lot of people are saying that this year is a make or break year for Beth, but with her continue to kill it with the recruiting, I think it’ll be hard to justify letting her go with the fear of losing these big time players coming in in the next couple of years.

You don’t keep a coach or staff because of a recruit or staff. Beth will have her usual results. Winning record, make the tournament we won’t see a big turnaround.

OF recruit from Virigina ranked in the top 20. Was named a PGF All American this year.
