Transfers In
Ashley Vallejo RHP McNeese
Avery Hodge INF Oklahoma
Jalia Lassiter UTL Ole Miss ( CF @ Ole Miss )

Transfer Out
Raelin Chaffin RHP Mississippi State
Emma Strood RHP Texas State
Avery Hodge, who recently entered the transfer portal after two years playing for Patty Gasso at Oklahoma, is headed to LSU.

The infielder announced her decision on her Instagram account on Thursday.

Hodge hit 4-for-12 during the 2024 Women’s College World Series after an injury to Alynah Torres thrust her into a full time starting role.

For the season, Hodge hit .284 with nine RBIs, five doubles, 11 walks and nine strikeouts in 74 total at-bats.

When Torres was healthy, Hodge was primarily called upon for her defense at second base. :geauxtigers:
Rylie Johnson, class of 2025, is going to be one of the best ever at LSU. Her work ethic is unbelievable.

2024 Extra Elite 100 #7—Emma Kavanagh, C, Illinois Chill – Quinn
Emma has been ranked in the 2024 Extra Elite 100’s Top 10 every year since the class began and continues to impress with her tools and accomplishments. This summer, she led the 18’s (though 16u eligible) for organization head Gerry Quinn in batting average, home runs and RBI, and was the most difficult player to strikeout. Emma was also key in helping the Chill to a Top 10 finish at PGF Nationals this summer and also was a standout for her Barrington (Ill.) High team. She has been described as a “great physical presence with all the tools including a 2.96 in the 20-yard-dash, 79-mph exit speed and a 69-mph arm which added up to a superb 101.00 Allister Index score.
It could be that the QB was limited in his in his ability or understanding of the playbook.

The Defense was on the field for 100 Plays, almost 40 min. and Clemson still had to score on the last play to win. Our "D" did a Great job. LSU has the most talent of any team in the country and seems to have good team chemistry. That means the Coaching has to improve and Les needs to make some changes. I know that Les is Very Loyal and hates to make changes to his coaching staff, but we need an OC that can get our offense playing as well as our Defense. Now that will be a Dynasty!

You know he wants a chance to win. He will have to decide what he wants win. He may have the chance to win a PAC 12 conference in his 2-3 yrs at UCLA. He Will have a chance to play on National TV every week, win the SECCG, and the NCG every yr he's at LSU. Plus be another 1st round NFL pick from DBU LSU.
