The best...

New York Dolls - Personality Crisis

New Yorks Dolls - Pills

While you prob couldn't pigeon hole them as strictly glam, its was def in the mix...

They were the first punks, in my opinion.

The electronic action on Vietnamese Baby takes a GOAT song to a great song, however.

They were heroine'd up geniuses with vision, but the corner stone was Johnny Thunder, and he was not capable of being the ballast of anything.

Roxy Music - If There Is Something

When this verse drops...

“Shake your hair girl with your ponytail
Takes me right back...”

If one would ask me, do you like glam rock? My answer would be, no. Yet here I am liking most of what is being posted. I think a lot of people are turned off by the name of the genre more so than the music. I mean, if you don't like The Sweet and/or Slade, then you probably just don't like rock and roll.

I agree completely and I started the thread. I just wanted to see where it would go.
