Do they still have the rodeo burger at the BK lounge? I may be one of the few who enjoyed that one.

Hardly anybody remembers it but when I was little (early 80's) Long John Silver had something called peg legs. They were basically chicken drummies fried in their batter. They were excellent.

I have good news for you, Baw. Your info says you are from SW LA. The closer to Deridder, the better. Just north of Deridder is a grocery store called Save a Lot. They are a discount grocery with some of their own brands and some national brands.

They sell a sandwich that is the Mcrib. The only difference is that it is plain. You have to add pickles, onions, and BBQ sauce. The meat and bread are identical.

They cost $1 each and are in the frozen section.

Besides the fact they are disgusting, McD’s probably can’t scrape together enough pork gooch and eyeballs to make the patties

Fast Track

For YEARS after they shutdown all the stand alone restaurants, the gas station at the foot of the Sunshine bridge before going over to get to Donaldsonville had one in their gas station. Didn’t matter that I was only going to Donaldsonville to see my grandparents and generally eat copious amounts of homemade grandma food, I still stopped every time and got a bucket o fries (seasoned of course).

I miss Fast Track

I used to love this cereal as a kid in the 80s. I probably wouldn't care for it now though.

Grilled stuffed burrito was the best thing on Taco Bell’s menu.

I was going to say Oreo Big Stuf, but when I googled, I saw they released a version last year called Most Stuf. It’s kind of making my stomach hurt just to look.
