Get this trash off the rant. This is doing more harm than good.
Nah, giving in to the woke mob is far worse.

According to who? Unfortunately, I think other coaches are going to use this against O for a long time. You already have players from last year's team making comments about how other coaches are handling this. Add that to the criticism Chase received and LSU is looking as bad as can possibly be perceived from the current cultural lens. O should hire the best PR team out there before this whole thing unravels.

Should coach O have led the team on the march
Coach O works out, no need for an extra walk that supports a n organization against males, traditional marriage and capitalism..
all 3 things the Black community needs...badly
Coach O should hold a meeting and say the following:
"Each of you are like my sons, and I tell my sons if and when they get pulled over by police and if they don't obey and comply with the officer, things might go bad real quick"
"I expect none of you would do anything close to what Mr Blake did, because if you lived a life like he did, you wouldn't be playing football here or anywhere else, tomorrow, or ever"
"We don't need another missed practice, go for a little walk to find a common bond on right and wrong, I think those things are obvious, take ownership of your choices because they matter"
"Questions?"

Absolutely he should have

No. When you feed more entitlements to those who are not entitled but feel they are, it only feeds the monstrosity of ego already created...ergo, it only gets worse. As regards Saban leading his march; the puppet master was transformed into the puppet...they will only demand more.

Coach O said he found out about the march 15 minutes before it started. He said he immediately put on his jogging shoes but the march was already on the move. He did meet up with the players later. I have not heard one player criticizing him . Saban, on the other hand, knew about bama's march 2 days before. Note that with Saban's knowledge, the team marched on an off day from practice,i.e. they did not miss a practice. A coincidence??

If the players have an issue they can GTFO. Not everyone is going to bow down to them their entire lives, cater to their every demand, or always agree with them. Welcome to the real world kids.

It could also help him lose games if the focus he always preaches is disrupted by focusing on the latest social justice cause.
There is a time and place for everything. Put me in the camp that when it is practice time, you focus on practice.
But, I am a Boomer, I am sure the young chaps know much better.

The entire Movement is infantile and will do nothing to progress the status of black Americans over time. Nothing, nada, zip. It’s actually COUNTERPRODUCTIVE because it continues to pander and normalize all these rampant social pathologies that have made life so ugly for so many black Americans.
Nailed it

Pandering works.
No it doesn't. It only opens you up for more and more of this crap. Look at the NBA. They started with calling owners "governers", then went to BLM on the courts, slogans on jerseys, still not enough. Now we've got a boycott. You think it stops here? hell no. They're just getting started. they've already said they will boycott again if the owners don't take their demands seriously.

Yea, obviously marching for racial justice is the thing to do nowadays. It’s dumb and serves no point, but whatever.
Kind of like dumping thousands of pounds of tea into the harbor huh?

No, it’s all for show and a huge act. It’s an election year. No one is oppressed in this country for freaks sake. It’s 2020! Everybody is capable and allowed to do and go anywhere they please at anytime. I’m tired of this crying mentality. Social media(mainly twitter) has brainwashed so many people. I live in a neighborhood where it’s well diverse and everyone gets along and friendly and none of this bs that is blasted on social media.

No one gives a frick about the “Veruca Salt” generation anymore. Greedy, lazy arse generation that did nothing of note for the world but left a complete mess behind for their children to clean up.

Doesn't mean shite. If it doesn't work out between parents, co-parenting can work out between 2 adults white or black.

skyrocketing criminalit
Agree

failed neighborhoods, crumbling schools,
Black kids have no control over having to go to poor schools. There isn't any money going into 90% of inner city schools in every major city. Blame the school sytems

escalating black on black violence,
As a black man we have to start at home with our own race 1st before tackling other issues.

normalizing hating white people
This goes both ways. Normalizing hating black people has been practiced in America for generations by SOME people.

MLK gave black people all those principles only to be assassinated

Highly privileged and entitled teens of The Hive Mind walk out of the 50 entrée food hall and chant vacuous slogans endorsing Collective Race Guilt.
