It was said during the players meeting that only about 20% of all NBA players are registered to vote.

Players boycotting and demanding owners to make change when they can’t even get out to vote. Players aren’t doing their part to make change, why should the owners? The players have tons of money to support social justice causes and they have as much influence with the media as owners do, if not more. Instead of complaining and forcing others to do your work, take charge and be the change you want to see in the world

Most people their age aren’t boycotting work and making demands.

It’s always been my policy that if you didn’t vote, you have no right to complain about decisions that elected officials make.

How about one changing their behavior first?

The 18-29 demo had a 46% turnout in the 2016 election so actually it's not. 20% is fricking pathetic. How can you demand social change without actually going out to the polls to vote?

Well that sucks.

Because when the rest get signed up we know who they’ll vote for.

You think not being registered to vote is a deterrent to voting? I would argue that unregistered voting is highly encouraged by one party.

I don’t think “vote” is one of the more popular ones. I have seen it once or twice. The one I see most is “equality”. That is what majority of these guys want for their families and friends and all.

Link us to this "inequality" that you keep talking about and what EXACTLY needs to be met to meet this moving goal post. Thanks.

Higher than I would have thought. Why does this surprise anybody?

Inequality in policing. People being pulled over and harassed just because they are black. Leads to distrust of police. Which leads to people siding against the police even in cases like Blake’s. I think that George floyd bill is probably a good start. Although I don’t necessarily agree w all of it.
