Lots of rich people vote left bro. They are willing to give up some of their own money to help out the greater good. Is the way they look at it.

Please explain how giving the government more money materially improves the living conditions of others rather taking that same money and directly helping someone you know. No bullshite "right side of history" platitudes either.

I am genuinely curious.

I would assume some people care more about their party stance on social issues and other things than taxation. Taxation is not at the top of their list on what influencea their vote obviously.

I don’t think “vote” is one of the more popular ones. I have seen it once or twice. The one I see most is “equality”. That is what majority of these guys want for their families and friends and all.

What right do black people lack that white people have? More unarmed whites are killed by police than blacks, so that can’t be it

Once youre in the elite class it doesn’t really matter how much they tax you, at least for most celebrities and athletes and artists. Business people care about the taxes, but the social elite do not

Yeah, young Americans need to be more politically active. That doesn’t take away from the rest of their message. If you are using this as a reason to dismiss the movement, then chances are you never cared in the first place. Change is needed at both local and federal levels. Got to start somewhere.

So the start is to whine and try to leverage the owners to do something, instead of starting on their level and then trying to bring it up? The issue is they’re going about this all the wrong way. They don’t have a plan, they’re all talk no action. So they want to continue being all talk no action and force the owners to do the action

That's a nice pivot that says absolutely nothing.

Again, how does giving more money to the government do more to materially improve people's life than doing it directly to the person(s) in need?

What do you mean they don’t have a plan? They put out specific action items as a part of the agreement to start playing again. The Baltimore Ravens put out a list of policy bullet points. Organizations like campaign zero have specific policies to end police violence.

You may not like any of their demands, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a plan.

You say this like it isn’t a crushing indictment of our country. The fact that the best/only chance of economic opportunity for some segments of society is professional sports is our fault. Maybe we should spend more time fixing things like the education system instead of yelling at the people reminding us there is a problem.

One example would be a gay man who wants to get married one day. He is willing to pay more in taxes to get people elected who are more likely to Get his marriage legalized. There are countless other personal reasons people could have similar to this to where taxation would not be their #1 most important thing they voting on.

Inequality in policing. People being pulled over and harassed just because they are black. Leads to distrust of police. Which leads to people siding against the police even in cases like Blake’s. I think that George floyd bill is probably a good start. Although I don’t necessarily agree w all of it.

LOLOLOL

A huge crock of shite.

They are pulled over in high numbers, because they are the majority in many of these areas, so naturally they would be pulled over at higher rates. Derp Derp

And the rest of your tripe is laughable at best.

Go do a ride along with a Cop, in an inner city. You will see first hand that the shite your spewing is BS. They are ALWAYS pulled over because they are black. LOLOL

That's your best example? It is 2005? Your pals, Hillary and Barack were against his marriage as well until it became politically convenient to be for it.

You are right that some people vote for social or non-fiscal related issues and that is there prerogative.

But 80% of them are registered by the Department of Child and Social Services.

Amirite?

Or amirite?

Lets not act like these are great people for society and role models. Registering to vote is a blip.
