I'm sure the last thing their families are worried about are the Gators....how would you feel if your son or nephew caught this virus and had a fever over 100 and a hard time breathing. Would you still be only worried about being ready for a damn game!!!!!

Everyone on the team should just take Hydroxychloroquine like I did in the military. It is clearing folks up who take it and folks who have taken are not getting the virus. Look up Uganda in Africa. 45,000.000 and only 22 cases of COVID related deaths. It works

CDC says 10 days then 24 hrs symptom free to return. I am on day 14 and just got my smell and taste back. I still feel like crap and like a weight on my chest. I am 6’-2” and 205. I can imagine a 6’-7” 330 lineman trying to return back.

If they are going to get it, bows the time to get it a month before the first game.

If they are taking the Bel tests associated with the Happy Meal giveaway, the chances of false positives are close to 100%

45% of US deaths from COVID were IN NURSING HOMES, which only house 0.6% of the population.

Of course this was mostly in states whose governors ordered infected people to be admitted to nursing homes.

This is ridiculous.

I’m 5’10” and 250. I had fever for 1 day, but felt bad for about a week. After that, it took 2 or 3 days to get my energy back. It has been 10 days since that point. I’m feeling better, but the cough persists. It effects everyone differently. For me, it wasn’t really any worse than sinusitis/upper respiratory/bronchitis.

Can they still do certain drills amongst themselves?

What if they got pneumonia which has killed more than China virus since February? What if they’re in a car accident or tore an acl in practice? What if they fell off a ladder cleaning the gutters? What if, what if?

If this is like the flu, can't you get it again? So how is it that you can just get it out of the way? People can contract COVID more than once as was found to be the case more recently.

this is why this season, if they play, will be a joke. LSU, and its opponents, will have quarantined players every week, so the rosters could be hugely affected.

What if we play Bama but our QB, RB, and WRs are quarantined?

Look, I want football, but this season (if it even happens) will be underwhelming because of roster depletion, and which week it falls on. I'll watch of course, but my emotional investment in this season is gone.

This is a stupid comment, if one was exposed and they are together all the time, then of course they would all be quarantined.

The initial report of 40 players with Corona turned out to be 40 possibly exposed and only less then 10 actually got it.

With the way this has been handled and with all these players working out together, of course most of them have been in some type of quarantine since some had it and several were possibly exposed.
