Did Giannis die?
Luka laid him to rest.
Give me Luka over Giannis, with no hesitation.

Seems like an overreaction

it is. Luka is very great but he still is not even a good 3 point shooter and his free throws are avg.. he's also an avg defender.

Giannis averaged 30/14/6. Luka is definitely closing the gap insanely quick though.

And was probably the best defensive player in the league

Even if he’s not “yet” the best player, he’s certainly on his way....and yet corporate America barely notices him. The Average American has no idea who he is. This says everything about our current society. Hopefully that changes....the NBA should be promoting him nonstop if they were smart.

That as well. Luka is amazing but let's pump the brakes a tad. His time is coming very soon.
I'm more interested in a Luka vs Hardwn debate.

That trumps so much IMO.
ETA: I'll put it this way. I have zero concern with Luka's ability to be a closer on an all time level, while I have concerns about Giannis's ability to be a closer...in general.

I know all these dudes hit a lot of Long distance threes.
But that was some insane shite being a step back 3
From that distance.

if you don't have concerns about Lukas shooting you're dumber than hell
he literally airballed...3x today.
then @shell says " I have zero concerns" lmao cringe

Let's also take a minute to laugh at Atlanta for drafting him & trading him to Dallas for Trey Young & 1st.

Everyone knows Harden is a poor man's Luka.
Luka is Harden without all the flopping and pandering to refs.

Just watched the replay of the shot and that step back is so much a walking call in the NBA of the past.

Luka is fun as hell to watch

Agreed, Luka is what Harden could be if he didn’t play like a bitch.
Also, Luka’s shot is way better than Giannis’. Just look at their shot selection. Giannis shoots because he’s left wide open, Luka has to create space to get his shot off.

I love the kid, but the mavs were 25 points per 100 possessions better when luk was on the bench v when he is playing in the series coming into Today. That will change a little with today’s game, but over the 4 games played so far, Dallas has been much better with luk on the bench.

You heard it here first guys! If the Mavs didn't play Luka, they'd probably have already swept the Clippers by now. Silly Rick Carlisle.
