I wouldn't be so quick to assume mail benefits the left. They rely on young people, and they largely don't use the mail

The problem is there is no check on the mail in system. It’s easy to manufacture fake ballots and count them

Voter ID's would make it extremely easy, and Absentee ballots exist for those who are physically incapable.
Throwing out mass mailings of ballots that don't require signatures is a recipe for issues. You can assume it benefits the left just by the mere fact they are pushing it so extremely hard, and it has nothing to do with fighting for voter rights.
Also, allowing people to mail so late against the election will mean no real results on election day. That is bullshite too.
In person voting with ID's is the most applicable way to accomplish elections with absentee for those needing it.

Just as easy as buying guns (a right) which requirs an ID and a background check.
