$600.00 XBOX Series X Rumor

Microsoft’s Xbox Series X could cost $599 and potentially be more expensive than the PS5, according to Alanah Pearce on the Kinda Funny XCast.
A retail source told Pearce that the Xbox Series X will cost nearly $600, which is surprising given previous rumours had suggested the Microsoft’s next-generation console could cost as low as $400. As mentioned near the 41-minute mark in the video below, the source messaged a picture of their work screen that had the Xbox Series X price on it.
This is the second time in a couple days a story has ran that suggest this price. I could be bullshite.
But possibly this will be the MSRP for the unit by itself and Microsoft will push bundle options for a lower price with a GamePass or All Access contract.

I can't imagine PS5 being more than 600.00 but I can imagine Microsoft wanting to push the phone model to own an XBOX coupled with their services or pay a premium.

Why indeed. It seems its really all about GamePass and XCloud. Game Pass has really been where the I have found value in Xbox. Phil Spencer has mentioned several times over the past year that the strategy moving forward is give the consumer options on where to play whether that be PC, Xbone, or Series X. Its looking more likely I'll be sticking with my One X and PS 4 for a while longer. Still have lots of games from this gen to enjoy.

$600 isn't that bad. I don't know why gamers expect the price if consoles and games to remain stagnant forever.
