Dude threw a punch at me for a hard foul during a pick up game at the Rec Center around 1998. I guess I got lucky. A couple of years later he murdered someone.

Really makes you think

First, Miller was tried in 2009 when he was originally indicted in February 2002. That's a speedy trial issue.

Only if he wasn't originally convicted in 03... but he was.

Well, he was originally tried and convicted in 2003, which is well within the timelines for a felony (specifically 2nd Deg. Murder) in Louisiana. A new trial was granted in 2006, when the judge ruled that the state didn’t turn over all of the witnesses backgrounds. He was also on house arrest and allowed to produce music and live his life until he was tried and convicted, again, in 2009.

quote:

Then you have the 10-2 vote when it was alleged that the original jury vote was 9-3 and one of the holdouts claimed the juror who switched was being threatened.

A 10-2 vote at the time was considered a guilty verdict, as A Louisiana jury was not required to come back with a unanimous verdict to convict. After the 9-3 vote, the judge asked the jury to deliberate a little longer. Shortly thereafter, the vote changed to 10-2, so the judge asked them, to again, deliberate alittle longer, as the change in votes happened so quickly. The vote did not change again, and no one came forward at trial indicating any jury misconduct.
If a juror is threatened, it can easily be resolved by any one of them telling the bailiff and then the judge at that time.

quote:

Then you have witness recantation, at least one of whom was the wanted with an unrelated criminal charge that would land him a 10-year sentence if he didn’t cooperate.

Witnesses recant all the time to support one sides agenda. I don’t believe that the bouncer, who saw the entire incident, recanted. And yes, some witnesses agree to testify so they don’t go to jail for their other criminal matters. They could always agree not to testify and go to jail for their own criminal acts. Additionally, C-Murder’s people were out there threatening witnesses, so that they wouldn’t testify.

This case stinks, even if Miller is likely guilty.

He also pled guilty, to a prior incident (2001) , during the pendency of his trial. Attempted 2nd Deg. Murder x2 when he wasn’t allowed in a club with his gun. The only reason that no one was killed is because his gun jammed after the first shot.

All she needs to do is claim the judge said the N word at any point in his life.

Boom.

Wasn’t it also caught on security camera?

No, it wasn't. That video that circled the internet was from another incident where luckily for everyone involved the gun jammed.

Yeah, he should have been in prison for life for that one which was the previous attempted murder he was convicted of (pretty easy with it being on tape). Kardashian is a moron for trying to help this pathetic thug.

The recanting of stories was due to witnesses being threatened.
Peeps are saying racism is the reason he was found guilty.

Of course it is. His brother was super-rich and had tons of influence. They were trying and have tried to influence every person they could to try and get a positive result for him. He's a thug. That video in the previous case didn't lie.

He isn't getting out.. Considering his brother just had a mini series talking about how he started and built up his company and when he talked about c-murder he said.. I am paraphrasing, but he pretty much said "he (c-murder) kept getting in trouble and went back to jail and I told him that if he keeps it up, gets in trouble again and goes back to jail, I am done with him".

C-murder gets in trouble, goes to prison and Master P stuck to his word.. So the fact that his brother had the means to help him, but decided he was on his own at that point, there is video of the fight (although maybe she can argue it isn't 100% that it was him), but its not like a situation where he was accused and there is overwhelming evidence that his defense failed to provide compelling evidence or some shite like that.

Yeah this guy does not need to be out on the streets again. He is what he has always said he was. We need to take him at his word.

What world do we live in that a skank from a sex tape and reality tv, who didn’t even graduate from high school, is working with lawyers to try to help free criminals?

The same world idiots protested in “groups” that mail in voting should be allowed because its just too dangerous to be voting the normal way in “groups”

For one, Master P was no angel himself. His entire empire was built off marketing & promotion. Once P acquired a certain amount of wealth, he was able to control the narrative put out by media outlets about him. Master P is a control freak & at one point in his younger days, a real hot head. He has used intimidation & strong armed, street tactics over the course of his music career to get favorable deals & control the information that was put out about him.

That mini series is tame compared to many stories out there about his past with the biggest being his ties to former New Orleans drug kingpin Richard "The Cuban" Pena. P's obvious connections to Pena were through Randall "Calliope Slim" Watts & Kane & Able. Watts was a hit man for Pena & one P's closest friends before Watts was murdered himself in 1997. The story surrounding Watts murder is a long story itself & is the biggest reason why P & Birdman never got along.

Anyway, Kane & Abel was convicted in 2001 of receiving 10 kilos of cocaine from Pena over 1996 & 1997. Federal agents located documentation of the transactions during their investigations of Pena. The Feds tried to use Kane & Abel to connect Pena & Master P but were unsuccessful in doing so. This is why P left Baton Rouge & permanently moved to California in the early 2000s.

Secondly, C-Murder wasn't originally heavily involved in the street life. It wasn't until after the murder of their brother Kevin Miller in 1996, him leaving the military shortly afterwards & moving out to Richmond, California that he started to change. P had a lot to do with that. He used C-Murder to "handle business" on the road in some hostile environments. There's no better example of this than the incident in Atlanta between No Limit & Pastor Troy.
