Obviously I don’t want Biden to win but I’m not a huge fan of limiting democracy to suit your needs as president.

Large scale voting by mail isn’t democracy.

Requiring voters to expend the minimum amount of effort to ensure the legitimacy of the process is in no way limiting democracy.

Mail-in voting is a sham being pushed by the Democrats to commit more voter fraud than they already do. They're riding this on the back of absentee voting but that's a false equivalence.

1. Each voter has to request an absentee ballot. This means that, even if the ballot is being mailed to them, they know to expect it. It also means that anyone trying to steal absentee ballots from mailboxes would have a much harder time finding them.

2. Voter roles are often outdated. This means there's nothing stopping someone from receiving multiple ballots for people who lived at that location at one time, are just believed to be living there (falsifying information or clerical error, for examples) or filling out ballots meant for others but were put in their box on accident.

3. We've already seen issues with large apartment complexes where residents or postal workers just toss unwanted ballots on the ground or in a garbage can. Nothing stops someone from gathering them all up, filling them out and sending them in.

4. A recent test done by a Philly TV station had ~3% of ballots they had mailed never being returned (the segment actually started off with the reporter having to get a manager at the post office to go find their initial batch of returns as nothing was ever put in their box and the person working the counter swore up and down there was nothing in the back for them... lo and behold the manager found it after being pressed and seeing this was going to be on the local news).

5. Unless you have a legitimate excuse (like military service or being unable to leave your home) it's just fricking lazy. Hundreds of thousands of men and women have died defending our rights and now we can't even be bothered to wait in a line for an hour or so for an event we know the date of years in advance?

Finally, this is something being championed by the same group that fights against any form of voter ID as they consider it a form of racial discrimination against blacks (nevermind the fact that we've had it here in La for decades and not once have I ever gone to vote and not seen multiple blacks in line and voting). That alone should tell you something.

Fight fire with fire. Beat them at their own game. Are you just going to set by and let the leftists steal the election? Too much is at stake.with this one.

So let's see.

We have an article written by a leftist rag in which it is said "postal workers Motherboard spoke to said having machines removed, replaced, or modified is nothing new."

But now, all of the sudden, this routine occurrence is EXTREMELY "worrisome".

So much so, that the OP hooks gullible posters into believing this "nothing-new" issue evinces "limiting democracy to suit your needs as president."

Democrats have shut down our economy. Money is not pouring in hand over fist. They should not be working overtime. We should not be spending money on Frivolous shite like this.

If people can muster enough bravery to loot TVs during this "pandemic", they can make it to the local polling precinct.

Then you must be totally opposed to random mail in balloting. I am not talking about absentee voting which is something entirely different.

Limiting democracy? Don't you see? That's the whole point, and why mail in ballots should never even be acceptable. President Trump is fighting against it, because if it is ever accepted, it eventually will be misused. The President just wants people to go to the polls, like has always been done. How is that, limiting democracy?
