Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that the high-stakes talks between the White House and Democrats on coronavirus relief will resume only when Republicans come to the table with at least $2 trillion.
"When they're ready to do that, we'll sit down," Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. LINK
"We are miles apart in our values," Pelosi charged.
Her chart did not include several other provisions that have prevented an agreement, including the Democrats' demand for hundreds of billions of dollars in new funding for state and local governments, a $600 weekly boost to unemployment benefits and $25 billion to prop up the U.S. Postal Service ahead of November's elections, when mail-in ballots are expected to flood the system.

Pelosi has every intent to drag this out past the election. The GOP has met several of the demands in negotiation, and the Dems move the goalposts. This is 100% on the Dems who care nothing about us.

How I wish we actually had an impartial media calling out these idiots.
Imagine if there situation were reversed how Republicans would be excoriated.
There were a few questions last weekend questioning there behavior. Now they are back in lockstep with the Dems.
The media has been the most disgusting element of everything. I guess I figured politicians lie. But the fricking media totallyprotecting them is too much.
